I'll be honest, that tiny Not-Windblade is probably the only 3rd party transformer, that's not an original character, that I want (and can afford)! Looks so good and would look even better with Metroplex!

Longrack was a Beast Wars Neo toy that I've wanted for a while. Sadly, I've never been able to get a hold of one for a decent price online. Thankfully, I was at LEAST able to get the Transformers Cybertron version of him!

I would still rather have the Giraffe version, but at least this guy is cool. The head design is awesome, the colours are great, it's just a shame that the planet key gimmick is so obstructive. Gimmickry aside, he's still alright, and I do have him up on my shelf with my Generations Autobots!

The 2007 movie line was full of hits and misses. One hit for me was Leader Class Optimus Prime! What a great introduction to the 2007 movie line he was for me (after being teased by the "Protoform" version)! He still holds up well as an action figure today, and given the new "simplization" of the current movie figures, one could say that he's better even than the new AoE Leader Optimus, though that one is more screen-accurate than the 2007 guy.

Either way, he's still a great figure. Strangely, I got a small pang of nostalgia when I dug him, and the other 2007 Autobots (except Bumblebee) out of storage. So yeah, this toy hits the mark well enough for me!

Jazz still sucks, though.

I agree, that OP is an excellent figure, sturdy too, I donated him to my kids a couple of years ago and smokestacks aside he's in great shape.

Lord O'Lube - That shot in the movie of Frenzy carrying the fusion canon has always been one of my favs. And hey, I didn't know you where a Dad. Kudos. ;)^

Fires - I despise the movie esthetic, but I absolutely adore that Leader Prime. The esthetic had to be toned down to make the toy work. The result was a solid action figure all around. I've always felt a remnant of Cybertron/Galaxy Force with that toy. Only movie Prime I've ever needed.

Edit: Crap! CS88 - love the "bug catcher" shot. :APPLAUSE:

Ah, the '07 line. That's when I first got into Transformers...

At least on the Decepticon side of things, the Deluxes seem to have fared better than the other size classes. Starscream, Blackout, and even Barricade here are rather primitive compared to modern figures, but I'd be hard pressed to think of how Bonecrusher or Brawl* could be improved. Same rings true for "off-screen" Deluxes like Dreadwing, Wreckage, Dropkick, etc.
(* outside the poor shoulders, but that's more of a QC thing than a design one)

Thanks! Everyone else seems to have much better cameras/settings than I do though, lol. I'm also starting to run out of ideas until my Hot Spot arrives and I can create Defensor. >.>

Love the Metroplex pics and the Movie recreation shot! Probably should get a Metroplex of my own, but he's probably pretty expensive, heh.

I think the toned down movie esthetic adds to the figure myself, he's a big bulky brawler of a Prime. Nice transformation to.
