Are you familiar with painting wargaming miniatures (e.g., Warhammer)? I would recommend using Citadel paints (just as good and just as expensive as Privateer Press and more readily available) but you'll have to use a primer to get it to stick properly. You could try paint from the Citadel Foundation line.Pyroclasm wrote:Shadowarp wrote:Very cool! (and nice catch, too!) You might thin that paint a bit in future.
I use Model Master Acrylics and it seems like I can't thin it enough before it loses its adhesion properties. Is there another paint you recommend? Could it be my brushes? I was considering using Formula P3 since I had seen it recommended for great pigment. Or maybe I can use that adhesion promoter with the thinned paint? I just kept having trouble with the thinned acryl not wanting to stick and not really being black anymore. I use the thinner from testers made for it so I don't know. :/ I am open to any product recommendations you can make.
