These should be hitting stores already if you didn't know. All combiner teams have a 5th member you can add by buying the Micro Changer blind packs. :) There aren't official instructions for combining the 5th Kreon, and it still leaves Devy short a member, but at least it's something.

Well, there's 4 in the combiner set and 1 in the blind packs, so that brings us up to 5. The last one will probably be in the next assortment of blind packs.

You know, spray paint Shockwave's removable armor black and then go over it with some silver paint, and it might not look so bad (hope it's hard plastic and not rubber). In fact, if the make Transformers Prime Dinobots, I hope they have armor as well - it would potentially be very Dinoriders-esque (actually, it would be clever of Hasbro to make it interact with the Legion class figures).

Prime has its fair share of G1 references and aesthetics. Kre-O seems like a bizarre hybrid of G1 and the Bayverse movies, and these 4 character combiners are more G1-ish than their previous Devastator combiner.

Back to Shockwave, I have to admit he's growing on me the more I look at the scans... and I love putting the Terrorcons Terrorpreds in there with the Predacons, because it fits to have Shockwave experiment on them further and make a combiner out of them. Perhaps this is the combiner the TF: Prime writers were alluding to in terms of future plans?

OH MY GOD those Terrorcons (and no, I don't need correcting on what the Terrorcons actually are in PRIME) look awesome! I'm assuming this would be in the Cyberverse scale if it were to happen, but would go loopy for deluxe set. Slightly annoyed I don't go for Cyberverse figures, but these may have to be an exception.

Loving all of the artwork for the Predacons.

Artist John Forcucci's Shockwave's Lab Notes Artwork Gallery

We first reported on this artwork a year ago, in a Hasbro catalog for Beast Hunters. Back then we were overwhelmed by the amazing figures that were soon to grace our shelves, such as Shockwave, the Predacons and Abominus!

You can see the original article and catalog scans by clicking this link here.

The artwork was said to be Shockwave's notes on the Predacon project and it looked like your usual Hasbro fare, with Autobot symbols adoring the pages. However, it turned out to be some rather high quality art and the artist has finally been revealed.

John Forcucci has posted a page on his blog, showing off his original works plus the finished Hasbro product, and it's an impressive mini gallery of fine work.

Also of note, you'll see that the Skystalker/Skylynx mold was originally going to be named Stormrazor! The mini gallery contains line drawings of Predaking, Twinstrike, Hun-Grr, Blight, "Stormrazor", Grim Wing, Windrazor and Rippersnapper.

We've mirrored the images below, but please give Mr. Forcucci's site a visit, take a look at some of his other works.
