Black unpainted hubcaps galore

It's like Hasbro isn't interested in painting the hubcaps on vehicle modes anymore, making the tires look quite dull. Why is this?

To be honest, they haven't painted hubcaps on a regular basis for years and years. This is no big news. Sure, some here and there will have painted hubcaps, but those would be the exception, not the rule.

I'm just always surprised when Hasbro does this. I mean even Supreme Class OP has black hubcaps, which just seems weird. Oh well.

I've given up expecting Hasbro to go beyond the basic requirements for paint apps. More and more I seem to be relying more on reprolabels to fill out my figures.
