Fellow Vault Hunters, our return to Pandora (which is nothing like that blue person movie with the dragon horses) is coming and coming fast. (If fast means September next year) Borderlands 2 was announced earlier this month and you should feel bad for not starting a thread on it.

Rather than just copy and past a new story like I often do with announcements and news, Gearbox prepared a handy list of previews from all the major outlets. So go read those, and get ready to catch a ride.

It was a big number 0, (Which is how he gets his name, a big Zero appears on his face each time he gets a kill) but yeah, that's how he's supposed to emote, since he doesn't speak.

EDIT: I stand corrected, right after he uncloaks, if you pause it at just the right moment, it is clearly a big (: on his face.

I am big fan of Borderlands game. It is interesting PS3 game. First time i have played this game in my friend house in 2009. When it was released ,its provided me great fun & enjoyment. Thanks you sharing the Borderlands2 game information. I am waiting ..............!

Yeah, at one point in the trailer it shows him using a pistol. I'm guessing his sword is just for melee attacks, like with Mordecai.

does it need a sequal? the games boring as hell. I think only a child could be interested in that game as all the levels and guns just looked identical to the previous place or gun that you were using.

DULL game which bored the hell outa me and all my online steam pals i play with also found it so dull we couldnt be bothered with it after 15 hours

gimme somert decent like l4d2 with custom maps any day

That's nice. You do realize you just jumped into this thread and called every present a child, right?

And yeah, it does need a sequel, because a ton of people enjoyed the first one.

(Also, if you couldn't tell the difference between guns, that's a problem on your end. I had no difficulty telling a Torgue apart from a Maliwan apart from a Jakobs apart from an Atlas, etc. etc.)

I really hope they improve upon the aiming mechanics in this one. I swear half life ruined me on that issue but oh well still looking forward to it.

I would'nt want to jump into borderlands 1 AGAIN (it'd be like the 8th time) But part 2 def. looks like an improvement. Worth another trip to pandora. As for part one being dull, well, I guess your one of those COD>EVERYTHING guys... I kind of need to question your call on it being a bad game. You obviously found something interesting about it if you played it for 15 hours!

Hahaha, same with me. It took me about 2 years to get all 81 trophies in the first game. So I am burned out on the first one. That said, I'm getting borderlands 2 DAY 1 and getting my gunzerker on (dual wield = FTW)

Also, anyone else irritated that the chick they got to play real life Lilith can't say her name right? It's Lilith, not "Leelith". But its a small problem, as she's still nice to look at.

With E3 going on right now and everything,we were able to get a little gameplay footage as Zero and it got me thinking...

Who are you guys looking for to playing as in Borderlands 2?

Personally,I'm going to try out Zero and maybe Axton

I played as Lilith during my first run of Borderlands, I plan on doing the same with Maya. Also because, if given the option, I tend to play as female characters more.

I'm all about maximum firepower. I went with brick in the first game, I'm going with Salvador in number 2.

Also, an updates I like, they have a trading system now for weapons, which would make working with people A HELL of a lot easier.

Also, um. What are they hunting for this time?
The vault cant be opened again for like, 200 years, right?
I could have swore I saw Mordecai in an earlier trailer.
It could have been a flashback I guess...

Or maybe this game happens Before the first one?
I doubt that, but that would be kind of cool.

Now I'm torn in between Zero, and Salvador.

Zero just looks amazing, but the possability of mixing elemental weapons just seems to hard to pass up. The other two look a bit recycled if you ask me, but I'm sure they'll be fun too.

Aslo, Zero's ... Expression is priceless.

God I cant wait for this game!

They're hunting the hunters. The point of the game is to get the original band back together--Mordecai, Roland, Brick and Lilith--to fight Handsome Jack, a Hyperion rep who's made himself dictator of Pandora. (And by the way, Brick is the only one who hasn't been shown in a trailer so far)

I don't know what Axton's deal is, but it seems his turrets are based more on firepower than Roland's, which were based more on versatility. Maya I know for a fact is very different from Lilith, her Phaselock is supposed to hold enemies in place, blow them up, and also heal allies. (As opposed to Lilith's Phasewalk, which is all about dealing damage)

I just Platinumed BL1 a few weeks ago. The sequel looks great. I'm excited, but I'll hold out for a price drop or a GOTY, or something.

Brick better freakin show up. But back to plot, Septembers game informer said somthing about Jack also looking for an ancient evil named "The Warrior" that is located somewhere on Pandora. Final boss prehaps?

Also, preordered Borderlands 2, and I guess that comes with a code to get the "Mechromancer" class when it comes out. Looks interesting, especially D374-TP (Deathtrap)
