I have no problem with off vehicle modes, but the HEADS, why are they so un movie looking? Doesn't fit in at all, I hope there's heads that can switch in for those...

I figure with headrobots around, they might make an add on for highbrow, like they did for hardhead. Highbrow isn't that g1 looking though, so I dunno.
On another note, I'm surprised so many people seem to be disappointed that highbrow isn't more movie-verse looking. I thought a lot of people were tired of the movie figs. Things are so jumbled up it's hard to keep track of who is for what and who hates everything. I'm loving the generations line... What ever figs I can't get there then I'll fill in with bayformers until I can get a better homage for my collection. Oh well

I'm personally very glad for the return to more conventional-looking faces. I was definitely tired of the bug heads. It's really great that we're on a break between films, because Hasbro has a chance to be really creative and just make great toys, as opposed to being constrained by screen accuracy.

Well, it mostly has to do with that I got into(as in where I started actually learning about it) TransFormers BECAUSE of the first movie. Plus, I prefer their design, I guess that's a bit odd apparently o_O
Though I must agree with Kirbenvost, it's good to see some creativity, in fact the green plane guy(HighBrow, was it?) looks fantastic, and I wouldn't be bugged by the face except that it's supposed to be a movie figure, it's face doesn't fit in.

I think the reasoning is that they're trying to find a happy medium between classics-look and movie-look.
I for one am pleased that they're going this way as I would not be getting all these figures if they had movie-esque heads. Though I can certainly understand your frustrations.

Really like the Rampage among the ruins set, especially Rampage in the movie accurate colors and painted hydraulics is a nice touch and Ravage looks good too.

Ah ok that makes sense, I can always switch the heads anyways

Though I think if they added a few lines or something it could keep the current look while having enough detail to look movie-ish. Mostly the Tomahawk guy(I keep wanting to call him RotorStorm for some reason....), his face is just kind of smooth, with a small change like lines(which would make his face look similar to being fit together with metal), it could work for both looks.

Honestly, this is one of the things that draws me so much to Hailstorm. I very much see the fable of Golem in this figure. Large, powerful, lumbering and unintelligent. I must resist the urge to buy 7 of him. If they make a smaller, rabbi-like overlord for Hailstorm, I'm on it.

Pure win. I have a list of 5 must buys and 7 possibles at this point. Looks like more craigslist sales of my current collection to free up some cashhhhh!
No thing that is created by humans is infallable.

Really? HailStorm makes me think powerful and smart kinda. However movie guys that weren't in the movie are generally planned as new characters for me. In this case:HailStorm is gonna be an extra Combaticon, an old guy type.

Anyone have a picture of the back of the Sideways sneak attack box? I can't seem to find one. I just want to see if those bikes transform or not. And if they do, what the robot modes look like.

Of course the bikes transform, they're Legends Class Arcee Repaints.

That episode almost made me totally hate her character "It's a great idea to be a stop light in the middle of nowhere..."
