Alright, so yesterday I walk into target at 8 a.m. and i see a worker putting out dotm cyberverse figs including leadfoot and crowbar. I go to another employee and give him the DPCI for sentinel and he come back with leader 'bee. I asked him for the red one and he went and got me sentinel prime! i asked him if he could get me the voyagers and deluxe figs and right as he was about to leave the guy putting up the cyberverse quickly said they were "out of stock." so i ran to pay for sentinel! sorry if the pic is crappy i did the best i could, i tried uploading the receipt but the file is too large. oh i got at a laredo, texas target

Man...you're damn lucky! I've been scouring the department store universe this week just to see if there were early releases...nada. Target was overstocked with old HFTD, PCC and some shelfwarmer Generations crap on clearance. Same with Walmart, except they weren't even on clearance.

I was surprised the employee gave me sentinel! but i think the other worker was aware that they shouldn't be out. he told me they were out of stock, but i know he was lying because i called the day before and they were in stock. 8-}

Yeah people were saying the same thing pre-ROTF in '09. Some Targets got cleaned out a little earlier than expected and less experienced workers assumed they should restock.

Reports have been tricking in over the past week or so of Transformers DOTM main line toys starting to appear on the shelves of retailers well before their May 16th street date. Our own chrisc4 came across Leader class wave 1, and purchased Sentinel Prime at a Target in Laredo, Texas.

Your truly managed to purchase Deluxe wave 1 at a Toys-R-Us in Oklahoma City. The figures rang up as "unsellable" due to their street date, but the manage went ahead and sold them to me. So purchasing these before the street date will probably me on a case by case basis at Toys-R-Us depending on how strict their management is on street dates.

Roxxstar found these DOTM Activators at a Target in Lathrop, California.

I might be worth your time to swing by your local Target and Toys-R-Us to see if any DOTM toys are lurking in the toy department.

My super target in Estero, Florida still is on PCC 2 pack wave 1. But the do bring new toys early.

Wisconsin, Illinois, Texas, California, and North Carolina Targets have been selling them. I won't be surprised if we see more. Ohio Targets have done it in the past too.

I think it's official now that retailers are trying skip an entire line of awesome transformers. Now I'm bummed that I may never see a Reveal The Shield deluxe figure past wave 1 or a Legends Megatron. :sad:

Ah but if you use the Pile of loot feature and say add 5 deluxde figures to it total shipping for those 5 figures would be around 9 bucks for ground give or take a few bucks, subtract the ever growing cost of gas, time spent looking for said figures you actually break about even. '

Now a days the hunt can be a little too exspensive and more than likely a waste of time

While I wont lie I still enjoy loking for figures, I know Warpath and thundercracker will 99.9% never be found at retail with the movie figures just around the corner..

I've checked a few Targets around the NW and W Chicago suburbs, and they have all either cited the street date or claimed to have none in stock at all. I'll wait, tho it's kinda killing me.

Don't sweat it...it's not that impressive. SP was one of the few DOTM figs I was interested in, and I managed to pick one up yesterday. He's much less 'attractive' in person and has a fiddly, panel-former transformation. Not the worst fig ever, but definitely not a good sign if this is one of the better figs of the line...

Could've also picked up leader Bumblebee, but chose not to.
