I got the BTS Optimus Prime Trailer as a gift yesterday and I love it.
The trailer mode is not just a silver box on the outside. It has some texure and detailing are nice and it has a different shape. It really blends in well with the new truck aesthetic of OP.
The command base mode is also nice. The little weapon storage areas are cool and the Bumblebee gun is a nice little add-in. The base is a nice homage to G1 but different enough to be genuine update. Roller is also very nice. I like that they incorperated him into the trailer as the wheels instead of just sticking him in there. The retractable arm-repair-bay thing is a little loose, but it works just fine.
How many of you guys have this? What do you think of it? How does it compare to the other 3rd party trailers?
I liked Classics Prime before I got this. Now, he is easily one of my favorite figures in the collection.

Re: BTS Prime Trailer- good stuff
I was very, very hesitant to get it. Let's face it: it's a box on wheels - a really expecive box on wheels. I could get Device Label Blaster and another TF for it's price. But I buckled down and bought it.
The only dissappointing thing is that Grimmy can't hold his sword. I think the chrome made it too thick. Well, Grimmy's in dino mode and he can still hold it in his teeth.
The trailer is aces. It really completes the set ... although it's humongus compared to Prime. It actually looks kinda nice on the back of RotF Lader Prime if only it's wheels weren't too small - it's that big.
I think it has to be that big, though. Or else it might not be able to fit cars inside of it and keep those dimensions. And some trailers are that big on trucks in real life. Sometimes. Classics Prime doesn't transform into a particularily large truck ... or so I tell myself. The functionality is why I think it has to be that big.
I love that unused weapons have a real home inside of it. And I like that the Powered trailer can attach to it, should one so desire. But mine is a Mugnus and it already has a home, but it's nice to know that it can attach.
I wish someone with both would let us know if this trailer can attack to the other one tho. After getting this trailer, I'm beginning to have doubts.
Edit: Apparently I can't keep the names for BTS and G3 straight. Here I was talkign about the G3 trailer. But BTS also looks pretty good. I just didn't get it.

Uh, Gauntlet, I think you're talking about the G3 Trailer not the BTS one. I have the G3 as well and Grimlocks sword will go in the hole with a little gentle twisting. Mine didn't even scrape any chrome.

Well, damn, you're right. I can never keep those names straight. I dunno about that sword, mine does not wanna fit in there *at all*.
That trailer looks fine too and is more tempting with the new hitches they made. Shame that I don't have any of the TFs it's compatable with now, else it might be more tempting.
Edit: Still, does anyone happen to know if it can hitch up with G3? It's still a topical question.

I have hitched the City Commander to the back of the G3 Trailer and it connects great. The real problem at that point it Optimus looks like the little engine that could!
On the original topic, I am planning to get the BTS Nemesis Trailer eventually so Optimus, Magnus and Nemesis all have decidedly different trailers to haul.
