BW:Future with character list front pg + ALt Modes

Got a great pic of G1 Op or BW Megs? Whether it's 2-D or 3-D it's welcome as is any other form of art outside the custom figure world.

Howdy guys. It's been awhile since I've posted here. Ever since Seibertron's 'face lift' caused the threads to unnecessarily insta-crop artwork and pictures, I grew less and less interested in posting my works here vice elsewhere. That, couple with a few big changes in my life - moving to Japan, the wife being pregnant - led to a significant loss of free time. However, I'm now settled in my new overseas duty station and have a decent enough routine. As a result, I've begun to contribute at a more steady pace than I was able to previously, and wanted to make sure the fans here got the opportunity to see the work - and maybe we could even adopt a few new followers into the fold by some updates to the concept. So, without further ado:

The following three images depict my designs for the BWF era Tripredacons: SPINKADACON (based on Cicadacon), who transforms into a Spink, RAMHORN (based on... Ramhorn), who transforms into a Grimworm, and C/CLAMP (based on Sea Clamp), who transforms into a Garden Worm. These three individuals combine to form TRIPREDACUS, the ultimate in battle field superiority.

I should note that these designs are based loosely on those mentioned visually; their profiles have been written for this BWF continuity specifically. More detailed information concerning the characters can be found at my website, on the following page:

The following drawings are from a recent brainstorming session of mine, concerning the combination sequence of the Tripredacons.

The drawings below depict TERRORSOAR (based on Terrorsaur). Terrorsoar's beast mode is the Deathglider. In robot mode, I wanted him to look extremely light, lithe, and lethal! He was so lankly and elongated that I couldn't fit him on the 8 x 11 I sketched him on. I had to tape two pieces together just to get him down. I envision this incarnation of Terry as being extremely cool and calculated, far from the rash and bumbling minion/servant/usurper we came to know in the Beast Wars cartoon.

Terrorsoar is a very efficient and unrivaled killer. He, like Spinkadacon, prefer the intimate violence that comes with the mastery of the sword - a thrill and emotional rush that only master swordsmans can ever come to know and appreciate. Terrorsoar employs no major ranged weapon systems, but he has been known on occasion to throw his katanas at extreme distances to impale his opponents - and at an alarmingly high percentage of accuracy. Defensively, Terrorsoar boasts unmatched speed and agility, as well as a small cache of chaffe grenades, flares, and other effective countermeasures.

And here is my first addition to the good guys in the fiction, done a few nights ago. I used the South American species of Rattleback for the Maximal formerly known as Rhinox - RATTLEOX! He is essentially a carbon-copy of the Beast Wars Rhinox. I see no need to change the character; he's pretty much perfect as is. :)

May I introduce you to the one, the only, SCROFANOK!

LOL, yes!, Scorponok has been reformatted, much to his own dismay, as the torpid, unassuming scrofa. Due to this deficiency, he is prone to rash and erratic behaviour in order to prove his superiority over the other Predacons - this often results in his being promptly scrapped and left wondering what happened to him from within a CR chamber. He has developed a bit of hatred, jealousy, and envy towards Spinkadacon for the Tripredacon's ability to turn a similarly feeble beast mode into a powerful killing machine in robot mode.

Much as he did in the Beast Wars cartoon, Scrofanok will provide for easy slap stick comedic reflief due to his complete lack of any offensive prowess or intellect.

Hope you guys enjoy the pics.
