TRU.ca is having a 50% off sale on all of last year's deluxes for 3 days only. I scored Windblade in store for 8.47 (cant believe I actually found her in store, Jihaxus was there too).

Also, the people doing the website are maybe on acid. What is Cyclonus doing in the listings when there isnt anything from wave two there yet?!

Confirming a second Montreal sighting here; I checked the Winners up near Montmorency and nothing, but decided to try the one upstairs Alexis-Nihon at Atwater on my way home. Sure enough, in the aisle up to the cash were Cliffjumper, Gears and Nemesis Prime. I took the first two, but Nemesis is still there for anyone who wants him.

Kanrabat is the reason there was no longer anything at Montmorency. And as for Alexis Nihon, does this mean you settled for the Gears with the staples all along his bubble? I was worried there was a problem with him so I left him there. If there was no problem, then it all worked out in the end and I am glad a fan ended up with him. I got my Gears at the Winners on decarie in the shopping centre with the Sear liquidation store.

Yes, that's the one indeed. Absolutely nothing wrong with him; dunno what it is, but I've noticed with this line that often times the glue holding the bubble to the packaging can be really weak; I recall that one of my deluxes (either Crosscut or Nightbeat, forget which) had a bubble that opened almost cleanly most of the way around with little resistance. Cliffjumper's bubble came off completely clean at the side and top, too.

Thanks Shajaki! You know guys, I think this is the first time Windblade and the rest of her line were ever at Toysrus, both online and in store. That does work with the schedule that we've seen so far. The Scoop line came much later than when it appeared i the US and same for some of the AOE toys (voyager Slog for instance). That's why I am still holding out hope that we will get Gen Arcee in stores.

Nope, I saw Wingblade at my TRU awhile back, but I already had her....

Sadly, it could be doom, but then again you just never know. Keep an eye on the non-traditional places.
In BC strange stuff shows up in the random Toy shelf at Save-On-Foods all the time. it was the only place I saw the Wave 3 Kre-o Combiners (computron & menasor) and some of the PCC team sets. Heck Dollarama get Hasbro stuff so you never know when may show up.

I hear that, i've been watching the tru.ca and its been all over the place. Thay have all first wave combiner wars at Kenora wallmart. But the price are ridiculous 19.98 for deluxe and 34.98 for voyagers. They will not price match, dont know why, but they say only local price match. Which is against wallmart's guarantee and policies. With true selling them for 17.99 and 29.99.

Still waiting for arcee, brainstorm and cromia in central Canada. Seen whirl in Kenora, wallmart. Jixhas and windblade at tru Winnipeg.

But just buy them online at TRU, you get free shipping if you buy 2 or more.

I walked into a ToysRus in Edmonton Alberta (170th street) and walked out with the first Canadian shots of Platinum Edition G1 Reissue Insecticon 3-Pack, and both Year of the Goat Exclusives, Optimus Prime and Soundwave! This confirms they won't only be exclusive to their website ToysRus.ca.

that also means they will be taking up a lot of shelf space for a long time. Hopefully that will mean a greater incentive for discount. That price for the Prime is absolutely bonkers, especially when the MP mold is still available for 100$ !!!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention there was a brand new entirely full shelf of YOTH Primes as well, for 100 bucks. Not to mention like 4 full sets of wave 1 CW figures.

Love that Soundwave, but I need a 50% sale to justify getting it.

Same here, and same for those insecticons. I'll be doing the rounds of yard sales this summer and local bazaars, and will probably find them there anyway (very used of course). The only thing more common than G1 those are Topspin and Twintwist.

For me it's more that between my BBTS POL & Pre-orders, Combiner Wars, the upcoming Devastator, one Kickstarter that I was already charged for (Ghostbusters Board Game) and one Kickstarter that will be funded in the next two weeks (Thunderbirds Board Game) I'm technically over my "fun budget".

Lucky that I actually didn't pick-up too much over the past year, so I've a bit more flexibility right now.

Over 200 for the Soundwave is just more than I can feel right spending on top of all these others things, but at half that i'll cave.

Went browsing into my local Laval TrU in Quebec. They have the Platinum Insecticons, Optimus G2, and Soundwave in stock. Full prices, of course.

They have also received a MASSIVE ammount of Generations Voyager Roadbuster and Skybite. Like, DOZENS of each! I bet this will prevent Brainstorm landing on their shelves for good. Anyway, for the huge quantity they have, I'll wait for a sale to grab Skybite.

I see this as good news since it means once again that we havent missed out on anything the states had. I am still patiently waiting for arcee and chromia.

I'm good by having the RID original. (Yeah repaint of BW blah blah see if I care.). I don't want to pay full 30$ for the new version and TrU have a shittton of them at the momment. A 50% sale is a high possibility. I'll wait for that.

Any others that fall under that umbrella? Not counting The OPs Megs BB, and Screamers that most would have at least one of?
