Onionhead (aka Slimer) is far from friendly. But I guess he's benign. Just don't get in his way, especially when he's eating.

Not friendly? He seemed pretty friendly in the cartoon and GBII.

But yeah, in the "Real Ghostbusters" era, he was the mascot, so yeah, I guess he was friendly-ish.
In GB2 I think he's more mischievous than friendly. But if by 'friendly' you mean 'not blatantly malevolent like some of the other spirits,' then you have a point!

I think it's canon, since it has a lot more development to it, Ok that's cos the movies have less time.
Well in friendly I mean, he lives with them and never tryes to harm them, at least I always saw him as friendly, well ecxept in the first move.

I think that DM's right about the Real GB era being canon, what with the characters and gadgets and stuff. Plus, you got to see Egon's collection of spores, mould, and fungus!
