I haven't logged in for years and decided to swing by to see what was left of the site as a whole, as well as the RPG. I've got a story I've been itching to explore, and even tried to create my site to run it. The basic idea is Cybertron explodes, sending out Primus' spark through the galaxy. All Transformers and a few others notice the explosion. Cybertronians feel it in their sparks while others witness it on scanners. Part of the story could be investigating why Cybertron exploded, with the majority of the story being about hunting down Primus' spark. This can involve Unicron, Quints, and, of course, Autobots and Decepticons. I even envision time-traveling Beast Wars characters as well as multi-dimensional characters from Go-Bots. Knowing this is almost always G1 centered, I expect the BW characters and Go-Bots to not make it on here. The Quints should have some interest and Unicron definitely should show some. Both of those can be introduced later though.

Long time no see, Cry. What are the reasons for it not coming back? I posted a somewhat crazy idea above. I expect it to be trimmed back some to just Autobots and Decepticons. Idea #2 could be a more open-ended space exploration. We could change it up and have the Cybertronian Alliance and Quintesson Imperiliam. It is canon for Cybetraon to explore and colonize multiple planets. The reason for exploration could be resource gathering, curiosity, or any number of things. I hope NOT for energon since that has been used so many times.

Hey there. At bare minimum it is about how many writers we have that are ready to write again? And what kind of setting the people ready to write would like to explore.

What’s the minimum number required to breathe life back into the game, Cry? With yourself, Sid, Jaz, sumo, and myself, we have five people—I’m presuming—keen to play. Not a formidable amount, perhaps, but it still took a whole hand for me to count that far.
Bearing in mind the undecided setting, would that be enough to start something?

As far as I'm concerned, Drop Bear, we could do a small RPG story with the crew we've got now. For a typical TTRPG (tabletop), the preferred number of players is 3-6 plus the GM. If you get too few or too many balance issues, come up. Now, something like this, as we all know, works a bit differently, but I think the same principle applies.
I do have another idea for a possible story arc that would work well with a small number of players, with room to expand. You have the start of a new colony on some random planet. With the number of players, we could have a united Cybertron Alliance and introduce the Quints as the opponent. The Quints could use random mechs and the many drones (G1 and Energon) or hire a Pirate Confederacy to do their dirty work. With pretty much a blank planet, the colonists (players) can help create it as the story goes along. The Quints will have done a few things, but not to any major extent. I would prefer something different from Earth and Cybetron.
