Chrome ROTF Scalpel

Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've posted in this forum. Here is one of my latest customs. It's a chromed out Scalpel from the ROTF line. This is a nice little guy and is still transformable. More pics can be found on my site. Thanks for looking!

How do you do that without the paint chipping when you transform and play with it? I'm afraid to touch most of my repaints since all i do is brush on paint.
