Hot Rod is an ok figure but I think a lot of collectors and fans are going to find it lacking. The flame gimmick is ok but it really doesn't do much and doesn't look to have any offensive purpose. Transformation is fun but there isn't a stand out wow moment. I think only fans of the character will really want the toy.
