When will a 3rd party or hasbro/takara produce a classics Blitzwing coz i would really like to see that. I have seen a custom 1 which looked pretty cool and a really rad masterpeice version

It would be awesome to see, but they've said that they're not working on any triple changers at this time which is a real shame.

yeah that sucks coz it would be good to at least complete the 3 decepticon triple changers. is it true that F.P have a Broadside in the works?

Yeah....G1 blitzwing is great save for his bot mode....he certainly is due for a revisit from the generations line.
Octane and Astrotrain have been done and done pretty well. Don't own them but from the pics i've seen they look good.
An Autobot will be the next triplechanger i think. They've made Octane, so don't hold your breath for a blitzwing.
Sandstorm is my vote.

Yeah classics Astrotrain and Octane are really cool they are my favorites of the classics line and they have great updated alt modes. Yeah bro Sandstorm would be another really cool classics character i reckon. If you can get your hands on Astrotrain and Octane you wont be disappointed

We won't get a really good one unless FP do it. The Classics 3changers aren't that great.

I will agree with you on that one, it would be nice to see FP do Blitzwing and Sandstorm 2 pack!! but thats all dream for now. and the Classic tri-changers are only truly great when your 10 years old or something, but views and opinions change when you get older...

Fansproject is working on as of yet unnamed Warbot that is going to be a triplechanger Broadside. Blitzwing is on everyone Want List so we are going to see one eventually.

I actually really like Astrotrain. The Henkei one more than the Classics one. Octane is a noble effort, but doesn't really work for me.

I think Blitzwing is better than Octane, so I'd love to see him revised.

Springer was amazing, but he has Cybertronian alt modes. Those are much easier to pass off than more realistic ones. I'll reserve judgement on Broadside when I see him, but he's really the first full figure offering from FP that doesn't interest me. Mainly because I don't feel much for Broadside.

Astrotrain's robot and shuttle mode for me are really good. His train mode... not so much, but there was effort there. I thought Octane/Tankor was quite nice, too.

Animated Blitzwing unfortunately took the place of a Classics one for a while since Hasbro had originally said if it got a toy in animated it would not get one in classics.

Sadly Animated Blitzy fails at his jet mode, while robot and tank modes are quite nice.

With animated pretty much over, and Blitzwing quite forgotten, Hasbro might want to revise that for future waves of Generations and give us a classics style Blitzwing.

However could have an Encore Blitzwing from Takara while I wait for a classics one.
come o Takara Encore 20 should be Blitzy.

I wonder if the Tidal Wave mold couldn't be retooled into Broadside?
Blitzwing would be nice to go with the other 2 Con Classics.

Henkei classics Astrotrain is a great figure. Full stop. End of argument.
Octane is not as good but they still did a really good job on him.

I'm not worried about the animated/classics rule as they've already made "Blurr" for Generations and animated.

If Hasbro don't have the skills to do it then you can bet Takara Tomy won't let us down.
And as others have said, if all else fails, a third party will step up.

I'm desperate for HasTak to do an official Springer, Blitzwing or any other Triple Changer.

The only G1 reissue I would really be interested in would Be Springer as I've got reissue Astrotrain and Blitzwing already.

Now that Animated is done that rule no longer applys.

Actually Hasbro and TakTom would resease the figure together if it were a Generations figure; thus if Hasbro doesn't pull through, TakTom won't either. G1 reissues are a different beat though.

I like the Astrotrain except for train mode. If they do Blitzwing, that would rule, as long as his robot mode isn't wacky/funky looking. And yeah, give us Broadside to complete the set PLZ!
