Classics Ramjet's Missiles

Postby WeatherManNX01 » Sat Oct 30, 2010 5:48 pm

Now that we have a complete Classics-inspired Conehead collection, Ramjet stands out by having the big honkin' missiles compared to the skinny null rays that the other Seekers have.

First, I'm curious to know if people have a preference for the skinny missiles or the large ones. Would you have preferred to have the Coneheads with the big ones and the Starscream seekers with the skinnies? Or would you prefer to have all the same type? And in a perfect world, Hasbro would find a way to put out dark gray skinny missiles to replace the big ones on Ramjet; in such a perfect world, would you buy them?

Or do you just not care either way? ;)

The skinny missiles just wouldn't 'fit' Ramjet. I'd rather get the big thick nes for Dirge, meself.

The Starscream Seekers definitely need the skinny missiles, no questions asked. However, while Thrust had the same type, Drige and Ramjet had unique non-firing weapons. Drige's were skinny while Ramjet's were almost like jet engines! In short: Thrust and Drige: skinny, Ramjet: thick.

Speaking of Ramjet, G2 Ramjet somehow received the same missiles as G2 Starscream. Should the upcoming club figure do the same thing?
The resident Rewind... well, half of one

I think Thrust and Dirge should have the skinny missiles. I always just kind of thought I was being too silly for thinking that though!

I would've preferred either Ramjet to have Starscream's missiles or, preferably, Thrust and Dirge to have Ramjet's missiles.

Why? Ramjet always had fat missiles in G1 and though they were different, Dirge had thin ones.

Thinnest of them all. While I'd appreciate some variation and am of the opinion that the Classics launchers are too bulky I'm glad that Ramjet has the real big guns. It's the way it should be.

Simply because I think the Coneheads would look better if they all had the same kinds of guns. Also, when the Seekers are all together, I just think it would look a little weird if there's only one with the thicker missiles, and the others all have thinner missiles.

Fyi, G1 Dirge's gun barrel/concussion missiles are compatible with the Generation/Universe version so just try hunting a couple of used missiles.
