"This planet has so much life that Energon naturally grows on it. All we have to do is take over the planet." Replied Megatron.

"Naturally growing Energon? How?" Starscream asked.

"I have no idea but it happens."

"Who stands against us?" Asked Barricade.

"A corporation called shinra."

"And A Small Group called Avalanche..." Said a voice.

"Who are you Human?" Asked Megatron.

"Cloud Strife. And I'm kicking you Off our Planet."

"Bring It Human... One on one you and I." Said Megatron.

"I would have it no other way." Said Cloud.

In reality Megs would utterly pwn cloud. But FF7 fans will gladly accept that this little wuss with impossible hair can leap 8 times his own height in the air, hold a sword that even He man couldn't hold and use magic that god can't beat.

I still hold Megs in higher regard than Cloud.

Cloud has taken down more powerful machines than Megatron. Cloud takes this on easily.

What about the people that believe, Superman can fly, not be hurt by bullets, go into outerspace? Or the people that think that the Hulk can lift up a mountain? Or that Blackbolt's voice destroys cities?
I guess in reality Megatron would pwn them too?

I'm not necessarily a Cloud super fan, but I have played the games and seen what he can do. The impossible hair, super jump, and sword-holding ability are all apart of his character, same as superman's abilities to fly and shoot lazers. Cloud indeed does have powerful magic, but I believe God would make it look like nothing. After all God is omnipotent.

By God, we're talking Kefka, right? Because Kefka became a God for a while, and also made Cloud's Materia look like nothing.

I said Megatron at first then realized what Clouds capable of. Love Megatron ta death but Clouds gonna win this one. Especially after coming to my senses by reading the previous posts.

Look I'm not some model rail road enthusiast who can't function without 100% realism. In these threads I constantly see otakus and fan-peoples argue that anime/game characters are the most powerful beings in any reality. It gets really annoying after a while (the Goku vs Superman thread comes to mind). I liked FF7 when it came out but the more and more famous and twisted the fans made it the less I came to like it. It just boils down to the basic physics of games, anime, comics, cartoons, ect. Seriously, in anime people can do the most insane things yet in comic (DC for example) physics that couldn't because they'd have to explain it too much. Or maybe I'm just thinking about this too hard or maybe that's how most anime/ cartoon characters seem to win fights since they have less rules to follow.

After seeing so many fans whine that naruto, goku, Cloud, superman, and other characters could beat down all of reality that I've grown to the point where i just love to see these characters fail.

And don't take the god remark too seriously, I didn't mean to offend people and if you were you to need to lighten up. (besides, I'm an aethist)

Which considering Goku, Superman, Cloud, Naruto (who is by fan NOT the strongest from his world) are all from different planets/worlds with different levels of gravity and other forces Isn't that big an issue.

Hair: hair gel
Over-large Sword: He's strong, besides swords can be made big and lightweight
Ability to jump: It's a different planet, different levels of physics apply, unlike DC & Marvel which uses Earth
Magic: well that's explained pretty well in the game

You're right, that was so hard to explain.

Now my vote would be Cloud, seeing how he took the Bahamut in FFVII Advent Children which was a lot more powerful than Megatron. However he did do it with the help of his group, which leads me to believe that a one on one fight would be a little more even than the FF cast v Bahamut.

While Megatron has strength, fire power, and the ability to transform into a totally useful gun... Cloud has extremespeed, strength, and good tactics. The size of his sword doesn't make a difference.
It'd be difficult to call but it would likely be Cloud who stands and Megatron who falls.
Megatrons ambition would blind him as usual.

Depends how trained up you've got him though... If you use Vincent, Tifa and Barrat as your mains then Clouds screwed here.

Megatron uses his blackhole tap and wins instantly. Though the surrounding area will be completely annihilated in the process.

If he has one of those, why hasn't he ever used it? It would have been useful in any of the times Prime was beating him down.

Well, he's unavailable from Mako Poisoning between the first trip to the Northern Crater, and that trippy scene where you piece together which part is memories taken from Zack, and which part is genuinely Cloud.

It extremely drained his energy, he probably couldn't use it after half his energy got depleted. Though he did use it as a weapon of last resort while fighting Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus at the same time. He was actually winning at one point, but then the Decepticons Polyhex found out about this and started to **** bricks (they were afraid that his black hole would kill everything in the area once it reached full strength). So they spacebridged him to Earth instantly.

Additionally, Megatron needed to concentrate really hard for him to wield it, this ofcourse got impared after Straxus tried to take over his body. After that he went insane over the years. this got carried over into Galvatron (Unicron temporarily cured his insanity, but he also started to go nuts again after many years and blaimed it all on Megatron).

for me cloud because of i like anime and anyone saw his moves, but if the author of the game of ff7 will make another story that cloud can destroy the world, that would be so utterly cool, it depends on the authors, if they make megatron has blachole tap, then the author will make counter megatrons move,

Megs lures CS in close. He hides in small gun mode. He shoots CS in the back with great force. Megs wins.
