Here is some good news for the U.K. members of Seibertron. Red Leader of Kapow Toys has posted on Full Metal Hero that a well known U.K. wholesaler has indicated that the U.K. may be getting a "Leadfoot figure in a limited capacity." No details about the figure is known except that the order quantity must be 5000 for the exclusivity and it "may possibly be stocked by a high street chain well known for serving the UK with sci fi products, it is still an open offer so anyone can still bite." What we do know is that this is not the Cyberverse figure.

Leadfoot is the red Target sponsored wrecker. Fans have speculated that Leadfoot would be a Target exclusive in the U.S. due to the sponsor details. Perhaps Leadfoot will be a Target exclusive in the U.S. while an unknown retailer will get the exclusive in the U.K. We will update you with new information as it becomes available but for now we are treating this as a rumor.

It's cool that the U.K. is getting some exclusives since most seem to be directed towards the States or the Asian market. UK & Australia get shafted more often than not.
As for Leadfoot being a Target exclusive in the US, I don't think any store is allowed to NOT carry a particular NASCAR toy based on it's team sponsorship so the same rules should also apply for any DotM Wreckers. We should be able to snag him at any retailer. Now if Target is going to carry a special edition of him that's fine with me since I'll be able to get him at a discount should I decide to pick him up but it better be something seriously impressive for me to even consider it.
Anywho, back on topic...congrats again U.K. TF fans on the exclusive. Looking forward to you guys rubbing our noses in it soon.

Just because something says exclusive doesn't mean that you can't get it. Just means you'll have to go a bit farther to get it. It is gonna be released in the US my friend and Im sure BBTS will have some of you can't find em ..Just relax LOL..

Actually, we have rights to food, water and shelter (and even in some places those aren't a given), everything else is a luxury.

And godzillzbot, can you give us a direct link please? I tacked down your thread and went to the site and for the life of me could find absolutely nothing about what your thread covered. This is a bummer because now the curiosity about both Leadfoot AND Steeljaw is really nagging me. lol.

Interesting, I woud guess either Yesco or Argos might get it, since they have done the occasional exclusive

if leadfoot was a target exclusive then i put my money on it being a Tesco release as they have carried stock with "exclusive to target" stickers before.

A Target branded item will be exclusive to Target in the US. If you think they'll skip a chance to sell something branded with their logo on it, that's just silly. This is merely a notice stating UK collectors will be able to get their hands on it.

oh well thats just great if all 3 wreackers do get human alliance treatment i will have to go target for this guy if we get him here had to buy universe inferno off the net & ha mudflap no stores where selling them to begin with

Can't find a darn thing related to what you are talking about and I spent better than 20 minutes (both times) sifting through Games, Glossary and every other category on there, whether it was related to the topic or not, in hopes of finding something and I found zilch. If you can get back to what you had seen earlier, then please provide the link/address but blindly hunting for it on Transformers.com is yielding nothing so far.

I second that notion. And to all those who think think it is cool for Hasbro to market exclusives for countries other USA and Japan, expect alot more Windcharger scenarios.

If it's well-known for stocking sci-fi then I'd say Forbidden Planet...

By the way, we UK fans have had to put up with Hasbro US (and Japanese Takara) exclusives for years (Transformers and Star Wars alike) so it's nice that we get something for a change! (And there's always eBay!)

Okay, most of the time places like Forbidden Planet, Toys R Us and The Entertainer do import 'US-only' stuff, but nowadays they usually charge extortionate amounts for them!

Not sure why some people are so dismayed about one toy *potentially* being only available in the UK, I don't recall too much of a fuss being made about the HFTD-Ravage infiltration pack or the WFC-Starscream.

This is generally what us UK'ers go through with every single toyline, we have never seen a complete assortment in 27yrs!!

Most of us a quite approachable too and given the sheer volume of stuff we don't get, you are bound to be able to pick something up on our behalf by way of trade
