What if Barricade had NOT been cut from RotF and the deluxe was NOT a sucky repackage with a really cool accessory? Just imagine, instead of some cheap robotic Species ripoff attacking Sam in the library we could have had this... I proudly present Custom RotF Barricade Kitbash sans partsforming featuring strobing police lights!

I have been working on this, on and off in one form or another, for nearly 2 years. 4, yes FOUR, Barricades went into making this: 2007 Deluxe, 2007 Recon deluxe (fodder), 2009 Interrogation and '07 Robot Replicas.
Detachable Wheel Weapon

Car mode

Original glowbar head.

NO partsforming, unless you count the wheel weapon. You do have to pop the head off between robot and car mode however.
It won't clear the windshield attached.

Big shout out to Jin Saotome. This project was largely inspired and influenced by his custom Barricades. I used the same strobing light from a toy whistle that he did, so if you have seen his you have seen these. I did modify the design heavily thou. I resoldered the LEDs onto the same side of the circuit board, as well as switching the red light to the driver's side for movie accuracy. I also cut the down board as much as possible for an extremely snug fit.
The labels are from Reprolabels.com. I got both barricade kits that they had. The low-light reflective material looks awesome - pictures cannot do it justice - but ahmigawd it is HARD to work with. I went thru 2 kits just to get the results here. Tip: Use HOT water with a drop of dishsoap to keep the labels pliable. Use a credit card or plastic wedge to keep most of the label off the vehicle. Start in the corner, working side to side, then top to bottom. The regular material kit was easy to work with and looked great.
