Secondly, I don't understand why people in this situation continue to put themselves in it. If I had been treated like that, I'd have left and never looked back. I don't care if there's a child involved and they want to see the family members and vice versa.
Here's some food for thought: Keeping your child away from these people is a GOOD thing. There's nothing stopping them from doing the same thing to your child, like what you experienced growing up. Getting your kid out of that environment is mutually beneficial for all of you. No more suffering for you, no horrible experiences for the kid, and no more fist fights for you. (Which was ridiculous and went too far.)
I'll burn a bridge and keep on steppin'. Sometimes you just have to walk away. It's not worth your happiness, please get that in your head.
Also, if you want a replacement, go here: http://www.thechosenprime.com/ManiaKing I can vouch for The Chosen Prime, personally. Great people, great store. Use the code "forum" to get $5.00 off of your first order.
As for getting the law involved, no court will take the case. It's too small to even be considered small claims court. The most you can do is get the cops involved if you can find one who's willing to really look at it, but the most she'll get is a property damage charge, which she won't pay and they won't force her to. You're up a creek without a paddle and it's smellin' bad.

Please, as stated before, rise above, and let it go. People such as your step mother have to live with themselves which is punishment enough. Money is hard earned, but comes and goes no matter what so I'd order another one as you have such love for it which is something all of us can empathize with when it comes to having that favorite figure. Allow yourself the freedom to move on with your life and enjoy your family and your toys! : )
But it wasn't an old G1 toy of his that she broke, it was the 3rd party Mania King toy.EchoKing wrote:Damn... That's horrible, I have never had a g1 toy (other than a beat up slag and huffer) but knowing how much old g1 toys go for, and then having your st. Mom break his knees clean off is shame.
