On Sunday june 3rd the one and only Transformers convention of the Benelux, B.O.T.S., will take place once again!

Our location is the same as last year; the Can Dance Studios, part if the Crown Business Studios in Aalsmeer (close to Amsterdam).

This year, Hasbro Netherlands will be present at the convention, you will have the opportunity to expand your collection through dozens of dealerstands, and take part in various competitions so you can win great prizes!

Best of all, the new Transformers toy line: Transformers Prime, will be presented at the convention!

Hmmm, that suddenly makes me wonder how Cybertronian prostitution would work. Would most fembots specifically avoid having any red lights built into them, since that'd be an indicator that they were, y'know...

Actually, not may TFs had extensive light-up areas of any color before WFC, so it wouldn't have even made sense just 3 years ago. Never mind.

A quick upadate from our friends at the Dutch Transformers conventions, B.O.T.S.:

Fall of Cybertron

 B.O.T.S. has big news! During the convention Activision, in asociation with Power Unlimited, will be giving a DEMO of the game Transformers fans worldwide have been yearning for for months now: TRANSFORMERS: FALL OF CYBERTRON!!  The game will be shown on a huge screen and multiple demo units, so everyone can see the spectacle! That's not all however: 5 of our visitors will have a huge surprise in store for them! It's a surprise that has everything to do with the game, and will be truly unique! You won't want to miss it!   And last but not least: our attendees will also have the chance to win the game as Activision will be giving away 10 copies!  Be sure not to miss B.O.T.S. this year! We have contests where you can win great Transformers items, exclusives (!), and more dealers than ever (2 halls full of them!), but now you will also be the first in mainland Europe to see the Fall of Cybertron gameplay!

Exclusives

In previous years, BOTS has always offered some nice but low key items for sale that were a cool remembrance to the convention. For instance, the "Bumblebee" stressbug or Beast Wars Megatron's little bathtub duckie. This year though, things will be very different! This year, BOTS will have a true Transforming exclusive! As a matter of fact, we're not offering one, but two convention exclusives!! These exclusives will only be available this year, and in a limited run of only 150 items. So act quickly if you wish to add these super rare items to your collection! Below you will find a first teaser. Any quesses to whom these characters might be?

I'm so excited!!! Only a few days to go.

Allready packed my for sale stuff like Hercules (version 2), TFCC Runamuck and Runabout, G1 Milton Bradley MIBs and loads of other goodies. Maybe I'll throw in a couple of vintage G1 posters as a bonus for big buyers. Still thinking about that one......

B.O.T.S. 2012 was a huge success!

B.O.T.S. 2012 has come and gone. The convention was a huge success with 2 rooms filled with dealers, kitbashers, artists, games and, of course, fans!

Activision was present with an exclusive demo of their new game Fall of Cybertron. In addition we also gave away fantastic prices; 5 of our visitors have been chosen by Activision to write the review for the new game ‘Transformers: Fall of Cybertron’ together with Power Unlimited (which means they get to spend lots of time with the game!). We also gave away some cool items at our yearly raffle.

The B.O.T.S. exclusive is totally sold out. So if you managed to get one, keep it safe!

Special thanks go out to Richard Gerlach for providing us with a very cool kitbash, and of course to Martin, who won this unique kitbash during the charity auction! Like the donations given in the main hall, the proceeds of this auction go to the Ronald McDonald childs fund.

Sadly, there was some bad news as well, as Calloway Customs could not reach B.O.T.S. this year. We hope to see them next year.

The organisation of B.O.T.S. 2012 would like to thank Hasbro Nederland, Activision, Power Unlimited, Godert.nu, Rein den Hengst B.V., KMBA, all dealers and supporting crew of B.O.T.S. 2012 for their support and tireless efforts.

I've been to B.O.T.S. too. It was a great experience (it was my first TF convention)! I've bought many Generations/Reveal The Shield/United figures. The Fall of Cybertron demo was epic! Well done and thanks, guys and girls of B.O.T.S.!
