Here's a link (although I warn that I comment on a bit of ugliness that came out at that time, too. To the extent that I participated in any such ugliness, I do apologize).

The only comment I'll make here is that, given how much it cost Delphan Rane to get these in the first place, coupled with the costs of getting them graded, $15000 doesn't strike me as out of line. As a percentage of his costs, his profit margin is going to be pretty low, especially after giving eBay (and PayPal?) their cut. Indeed, he's probably put a fair bit MORE money away just to have the auction listed, although there IS that "first 5 listings are free" thing going on (although if it DOES sell, he'll be paying FAR more in "final value" fees that he would have paid overall if he wasn't getting the listing for free, assuming that he would try to take advantage of that deal, which I doubt, since the differences are so huge).

Looks like you'll have to update your blog if these sell. ;;)

And as far as the fees go, lets just say nothing's lost if it doesn't sell and they're negligible if it does.
