I haven't kept up with news or info. about the Encore line over the last few months, so sorry if this has been answered, but is the line dead, or on hiatus since they are doing Animated right now, or what??? Thanks for your help!

No future releases of Encore have been announced, or confirmed. However, rumor has it that a few new reissues (not necessarily Encore) are in the pipeline, like Predaking and Sixshot. Mind you, it's RUMOR.

Rumour status aside, I'm assuming that those releases won't be numbered pr-se, but more in line with the new years specials such as Star Convoy and Galavatron.
Just speculation mind you...

DavidT you mentioned Animated. It's done minus the store exclusives they are trying to set up to finish the line.
Movie, PCC, and now Generations looks to be taking up their efforts.
