I swear too god my mom had the same one waaaay back in the day. It's sorta what stopped me from snooping. I'll never forget seeing that chrome and going "ohh what is that? Must be one of my gifts then reaching for it and AHHHHHH!" dropping it and running from the room totally freaked out.
Never snooped again after that.
One i did find was G1 Tantrum. I really wanted him and couldn't wait till x-mas to find out. So i found him and was stoked at first but was totally riddled with guilt.
We were very poor growing up so to ruin christmas like that sorta bothered me. Knowing it was gonna be one of VERY few toys i was gonna get that year and having to fake being surprised on X-mas morning wayed heavy on me. It took the magic away from it.
