Re: First pics of Revenge of the fallen deluxe bumblebee
I'm glad I didn't get bumblebee yet, I hated his head on the current deluxe figure and the premium looked weird too. this definitely looks more accurate.
I always knew they were going to get it right at some point.

I'm glad to is different from the previous releases. The gun is also an improvement.
But I will be passing on him. I'm only buying new molds for the new movie.

Re: First pics of Revenge of the fallen deluxe bumblebee
Okay...I'm really not getting the complaints about it being a remold. We Know Bumblebee isn't changing alt modes...I think we can be well assured that his robot mode has not changed substantially...is there any reason on Earth why he shouldn't use the same mold for his ROTF form? Really, Hasbro could have kept the mold exactly as is, and quite happily sold it to a million kids. Its not like the movie line sold badly the first time
Instead, they take the time to correct the few flaws the mold had, and get themselves smacked around for their troubles by the fans. Charlie Brown's football days don't have nothing on Hasbro with fans

I don't think it's unreasonable to expect new molds for a new film, especially given how much mileage has been had out of the disappointing Camaro mold already.

I'll pass--I tend to only get one version of each figure per line. I have '77 Bumblebee and got Cliffjumper for the Concept Camaro mold. I am liking the Soundwave figure but I want to see if there is another version of him (perhaps and earth mode?). So so far, no definite buys for me...yet

Haslab, please make me.

Regular Concept BB, Battle Damaged BB, Cliffjumper, Premium Series BB, Stealth BB, Screen Battles BB,
Its going to be the 7th use of that basic mold.
.
You forgot the Target exclusive Allspark repaint, so it’s the eighth actually.
9th. Ultimate BB is the one you forgot.

But Ultimate Bumblebee is a different mold, so it doesn't count.

Correct, totally different mold. I was only listing the figures that came out of the Deluxe Sized Concept Camaro mold.
And yes I did forget about the AllSpark Power Target Exclusive.
So 8 is the correct count.

Re: First pics of Revenge of the fallen deluxe bumblebee
In the last movie we had a number of Transformers in multiple size classes - Leader & Voyager Prime, Ultimate & Deluxe Bumblebee, for example.
Might we not also see multiple-sized Bumblebees for the second movie too? Perhaps a Voyager or Leader class?

I doubt it, personally. We got Ultimate Bumblebee because he was supposed to be the kid-friendly character that all the kiddy-winks would want. Give how badly that shelf-warmed, I doubt we'll see something like that again. A Voyager wouldn't make much sense, unless BB gets an upgrade into a larger form during the film.

Oh. I see. I was just trying to count how many Bumblebee toys they made, not the use of the mold. Thanks for the heads up!
I think a leader BB is ridiculous. I'm gearing up for Screamers and Soundwave. Screamers should get a leader class (To get rid of his ugly Gatling Hands). Soundwave should get a voyager. Hasbro, make him a decent pair of fists!
And I think Unicron should be in this movie, too!

Re: First pics of Revenge of the fallen deluxe bumblebee
Well, for the TOTAL number of bumblebees, in addition to the 8 new Camaros and the Ultimate, we also had 2 Fast Action Battlers, 5 Legends (orginal, damaged, clear, metallic, Cliffjumper), 3 cyber-slammers (08, 77 and Cliffjumper) and 3 deluxe 77 Camaros (US, Japanese with clear windows, and metallic) - and those are just the ones that transformed!
We've already seen pictures of a new-mould Legend Bumblebee (which was taken off this site at the behest of Paramount), so - as I said before - there's no reason why we can't have multiple size classes for Bumblebee once more.

I know a lot of people said this before, but I'll just say it anyways: I wish it was an entirely new mold.
If the mold was remolded/repainted from a toy and they're in the same toyline, then I'll buy that (unless, of course, the character doesn't appear in the film/show). However, if its remolded/repainted from a toy from a past toyline (such as this Bumblebee), then I won't buy it. Simple as that.
Hopefully (for myself, at least) there wouldn't be any other remolds/repaints that'll be used for the cast of the movie. Unfortunately, that's VERY unlikely...

Re: First pics of Revenge of the fallen deluxe bumblebee
I know how you feel. When I was collecting the Movie Line, I did just that - but I didn't go anywhere near the repainted figures from old lines, such as Signal Flare, Elita-1, Clocker and the rest. Just because they were in Movie packaging doesn't mean that they're proper Movie figures.
I have similar feelings about (for example) Universe Blaster.
Given that the Movie characters had a unique 'look', it's a shame that not all of the non-movie toys shared that aesthetic. At least they seem to have learnt that lesson with the animated line. I mean, could you imagine a repaint of Armada Tidal Wave (for example) as an animated figure?

We do not.
The one I'm referring to is the Capture of Bumblebee Screen Battles set.
The Final battle set, is just a lumpy legless statue.
Also because the black robot parts in regular BB were Gray in that version.
So again People I was referring to the uses of the 2008 Deluxe version Concept Camaro Bumblebee. Not Ultimate, not Bumper battlers, not Legends.
For all the transforming versions of the Bumblebee character look at Starfish's count.

Which, incidentally, is the only repaint of the Deluxe Concept Camaro mould (thus far) NOT to have a blue-tinted windshield. The Screen Battles version has a green-tinted windshield.
Judging from the pictures of this new variant, it seems to have blue windows again.

That's who we need to contact to put a stop to stealing my photos. Any help you guys can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Those arn't just tons of pics those are your Galleries!
Actually this is a good thing as some of your galleries disappeared in the board crash we now have a source to get them from!
Those galleries are defintely NOT my galleries in their entirety. But regardless, I don't like that they are stealing so many photos from my website. Pretty bogus if you ask me. I don't mind people using images from my galleries ... that's what they're there for. I just don't like them reproducing all of my galleries in the format that they are doing.
For those keeping track ... I have contacted my server host to have them assist me with taking some kind of action against the 78dm.net website that has stolen tons of my photos and replaced my watermark with theirs.
