This may have been covered already, but has anyone else noticed that the boxes and instructions for both Soundwave and Soundblaster show them both with their respective guns, but no guns are included with the figures? :???:

Understandably there are, and have been, variations between figures and box "art" but this one bugged me.

I was wondering that. The back of the box even shows a weapon included.

Yep, and when I opened Soundwave the instructions featured the same gun. I shot Hasbro an email letting them know, and I've already received two call backs asking me to clarify what was wrong with them and now it's at the hands of the R&D department. Apparently they are going to alter the packaging or add a gun? I guess we'll see, whichever is cheaper I'm sure.

I'm sure it will be small print at the bottom saying "gun not included" if anything at all

Most likely. I thought that too, but wondered if and how many complaints they get if it will make a difference.

I think it's lame that HasTak has chosen not to fully arm SW as they did in the WFC line. Even more so Prime SW suffered not getting a decent weapon.

I have mentioned this before and perhaps others have too...did you notice the Optimus Prime-like guns both Soundwave and Soundblaster on sporting on the back package? :VEHI:

He actually WAS holding G1 Prime's rifle in the original shots we saw of him. :lol:

Very lame, at least the Takara Prime (AM) figures get an Arms Micron.

Hasbro just got back to me and advised me that nothing is going to change and I do not have a defective product. No guns are supposed to come along with the figure. Not surprised considering it's a molded blaster from 1984. But it would be nice for them to acknowledge this kind of feedback and at least add "gun not included" as dirk pointed out above.

I just picked this guy up and I have to say he looks really great. I wasn't planning on picking him up, but the pictures just looked so good!

On a side note...my Laserbeak disc doesn't fly out, it gets stuck?

Yep....I agree...... I had an extra G-1 Optimus Gun....and it works great.

Yep, some of the discs are just slightly too big to fit properly. Much like Laserbeak, Ratbat really required a lot of force to stick into his case (have not tried to put Ratbat in SW's chest, though).

You may have more luck getting Frumble/Renzy or Ravage to fly out, they seem to be slightly easier to push in.

None of them actually seem to autotransform like the packages claim when coming out of SW, though.

I like the Soundblaster figure itself, but the data disk just seems like a colossal failure: it doesn't eject, it has no feet or legs to stand on, it can't perch on the figure, there's nothing to transform, and it has no posability. It adds almost no value to the figure.

I love the Voyager figure, but it seems as though the disks were rushed to get out to market way to fast. A little more time developing a decent product would have been time well spent I think.
