Hello, all! Finally got my new camera so I could take pics of these without them turning into balls of fuzz. I loved the first round of Human Alliance, but the DOTM line has me slightly underwhelmed, especially with human names. After about a minute I brainstormed the obvious: goodbye, NEST, and Yo Joe! My fat fingers,shaky nerves, and eye strain threatened to derail this project on several occasions, but I pushed on and came up with something I'm very pleased with, even if it's not perfectly as I envisioned it. Future HA deluxes will get the same treatment. The Wreckers I'm not sure about at this moment, but something will present itself.

Wherever the Joes are, COBRA is sure to follow. The introduction of more Decepticons into the HA line was a factor in my decision to remake the humans into something less bland, since having Deceps naturally lends itself to having COBRA as allies. A quick faction change with some rubbing alcohol and some Reprolabels and we now have Decepticon Backfire with COBRA saboteur Firefly. I thought Backfire was flat-out just too vicious in the face to be an Autobot, and the ATV helmet works in perfectly with Firefly protecting his true identity. Like my Joes, figuring out what to do for a COBRA symbol was the hardest part. This was the best my shaky nerves could come up with for a piece this small. Up next: Icepick with a Snow Serpent trooper.

Maybe you clould swap heads on Backfire for a Joe ATV. Looks great.

I didn't think about swapping heads. I guess because I was more focused on balancing the scales, so to speak. Two Deceps to go against two Autobots. Backfire seemed to be the most likely candidate.
