I need help on what is a decent price on a G1 Devastator giftset. They are still in the styrofoam, but the box is not available (thus no tech-specs). All accessories are there, and the stickers are still on the sheet. What is a fair offer? Thanks for any help.

Are you sure it's not the high quality knock off and a genuine vintage set? If it's the original in mint shape expect to pay around $150-$200. That's assuming it's mint with all weapons and original stickers.

$150 is the going price for a loose complete set. A minty giftset goes for between $350 and $400 with stickers unapplied.

haha, I sold two 3 giftsets at botcon this year, two for 350 (sticker applied, techs cut, no paperwork) and one for $400 with unapplied decals.

I personally paid $500 for my C10 unapplied and sealed paperwork uncut devastator giftset from a collector who was an adult in the 80s when is came out. The condition is amazing, worth every penny.

Someone asking a grand for an unsealed set is fooling himself.

he is still C10, I never transformed him, neither did the original owner. I bought his C10 loose set w/cardbacks as well. $700 total I spent with him, all on g1 devastator.

is was an awesome purchase, the guy must have been almost 50, he never touched them.

I love that guy. He's asking 1000 bucks and telling "fussy" bidders who care what kind of condition the toy is in NOT to bid. In other words, "give me your money and take what I give you."
