Just seen a G1 Galvatron toy in tonight's episode of Dr Who, called The Crimson Horror.

Was on Clara's kitchen table near the end of the episode.

A new episode of Doctor Who aired today, and at the end, I saw this:

And when I saw it, I had a massive fangasm in reaction to seeing my 2 favorite franchises come together. Obviously it's just a toy in the background, but nevertheless, she picks it up, and plays with it saying "I'm the boss!". Such a great scene.

I don't like where this is going.

Ravage, you opened the thread first, KirbyForce, you posted a better picture (but didn't check other threads before posting it).
There's about 15 minutes' difference between the two, it's not a competition, other people noticed it, we'll be merging the threads anyway.

That's ridiculous. The episode only aired at 18:30, so it would be impossible for us both to post the image before the episode even aired.

Might have something to do with the time the system is using. It may not be adjusting for British Summertime where the clock jumps an hour.

You can change that manually in User Control Panel -> Board Preferences!
It doesn't automatically switch to British/Daylight/Summer time.

When I saw that, I was literally yelling out "OH MY GOSH IT'S GALVATRON" and flipping out. It was such a G1 fanboy moment. I couldn't help but to mumble to myself "Lucky..." because I really want G1 Galvatron.

I made a whole theory about it on reddit. I wrote that post at like 1am, I probably was high.

Basically (to those who follow the show)

1) Galvatron is a reincarnated version of Megatron. Same character, New body. hmm. (Which supports all your Clara is Rose theories)

2) Galvatron has the ability to time jump (it's called that) in the original UK comics.

3) In the UK comics, a Bounty Hunter called Death's Head was trying to hunt Galvatron. Well, he failed. He got sucked into the Time Vortex and met the 7th Doctor.

hmm...

Of interesting note, in a previous Mark Gatiss episode "Night Terrors", the kid had a Cyber Stomper ROTF prime in his room. :3
