Apologies if this has been discussed already...

I need to know if there are any major differences between the standard Takara release of GF Master Megatron, and it's Korean counterpart.

Thanks in advance ;)

Weapon: Twin Sonic Cannons
As with almost all of the Korean releases, they're pretty much the same as the Takara releases, so much so that 99% of collectors couldn't tell the difference. The 1% that could probably have much better things to do than nitpick small details like that.

Hopefully

The big thing is is that the Korean versions are always done later, so any running changes to a mold (like GF Noisemaze -> C Sideways horn blunting) always show up in the Korean versions. That said, it can sometimes end up with a superior figure, like GF Wing Saber, which has the corrected eye shield compared to the original, while still having the vac metal lacking in the Cybertron release.

AFAIK there was no mold changes along the way with Master Megatron, Megatron, or Galvatron.

Ok guys, thanks for the quick responses.

For some reason the Korean version is a lot cheaper on the secondary market, even MISB.

I only got back into collecting after the 2007 movie, so playing catch up is proving tricky...

Edit: Just won an eBay auction for $68 shipped (from South Korea), pretty happy with that.

The Korean versions are noticeably more plentiful, and just came out last year or so.
