Generations and Walmart

Postby 3.8TransAM » Tue Oct 26, 2010 9:32 pm

So in a fit of luck with some money from 2 sources nonetheless and still not working but wanting to celebrate something, myself the lady and the lil critter all went to Wally world.

OF course I go to look at Transformers and bammmmmmm!. Dirge, Soundwave, Megatron, Red Alert and Blurr are staring at me.

So I bought them all. I have Prime, Bumblebee, Thrust, Drift and Darkmount already.

I had seen Megatron a couple times and Red Alert(looked weird in package(maybe broken) so i passed) once before at Walmart.

So are people finding these things in stores here yet? Like Blurr and Dirge?

Red Alert is not broken but on mine the top of the car was detached in the package. You just have to pop it back on. I have heard many people who experienced this when they opened theirs.

They've all made appearances in my neck of the woods. Dirge and Blurr showed up last week.

Weapon: No Weapon
Wouldn't something like this be better suited for the Sightings Forum?

It's FunPub. It's their specialty.

don't take that to mean I'm a killjoy just because I can be, though...

I knew about that, the only Red Alert I had seen prior had that and the arm/frt right tire sticking out weird MISB, so I walked.

Was just wondering how far Dirge and Blurr had made it here, it's rare when I find an entire wave of anything anywhere in one shot. Sightings forums really has no posts per se, just sections by state.

We could use this thread to see about Generations lines and their issues lol

We know of Red Alerts. God luck to anyone find a Blurr with perfect paint apps, cause I don't think it will happen.

Still mostly wave 1 in my area, I have seen one poorly painted WFC Megatron and that's it. No Breacher, No Straxis, No Blurr and Dirge.
Check out my sales thread, plenty of Generations, and Reveal the Shield figures for sale!!

Well, consider yourself lucky. Two of my local WMs have almost nothing. Their shelf space shrinks even smaller than Bakugan's. Good thing I'm only looking for Blurr and Dirge now.

I've seen Waves 2 and 3 at Target, though the new figures in small numbers (WFC Bee and Prime are pegwarming at the moment), and my Walmarts are still stocking Wave 1 with no thought to beyond that (heck, they still have some ROTF Mudflaps warming the pegs). No sign of Dirge or Blurr, though I've got some shopping to do later this week...guess I'll have to look around.

I found a couple each of Dirge and Blurr at Wal-Mart (zip 22315) today. I grabbed a Dirge; but both Blurrs had significant flaws in their paint. I'll have to keep looking for a decent one of those.

I saw all of them at the same time in the middle of October, of those I saw, I bought Megatron, Soundwave and Red Alert. I regret not purchasing Dirge, because I have not seen him anywhere since. I see a lot of Primes, HFD Ironhide and BB though... too bad I have those figures already.
