I was just transforming my gen Soundwave when i notices what looks like a peg hole on the inner leg. Its on both legs and to me it doesnt look like its from the molding process. Im thinking that he was suppose to have an extra accessory or maybe a minion. Or could just be an early thought on weapon storage that was changed later on. In truck mode if you pop the hood/feet up theres enough room for something. Any one have any ideas or info on what this could be for or from? I found a good pick of it here on seibertron so those of you who dont have the figure can see, here it is

Do you mean the hollow part on the inner knee joint? If so, that's just Hasbro saving material. If you are referring to the lower leg, near the ankle, those male-female connect in alt mode. Why would Soundwave hold a minion between his legs? While i also noticed the wasted space inside the alt mode, i highly doubt it was meant to store a smaller figure. I think it's just wishful thinking.

maybe he can store his weapons between his legs LOL. unfortunatey my local stores only have wave 1 of every 2010 transformers line so I can't help figure it out
