Hey Guys

I'm a big fan of Transformers. I own a lot of ´em since 1998.
I go to university in germany and next year I will get my bachelor degree. Buttherefor I've to create a high quality computer animation. And there is the fact about our common pleasure. I would really like to build my own Transformers as good as I can. I searched four weeks now to find the most detailed Transformer out there. It should be the BEST. This doesnt mean for me that It should be the ultimate rare Transformer from 1990 or so... No. It means for example some big one like the Buster Optimus Prime.
This one looks great and the price is ok... but befor I will buy It... my question is... are there any other more complex and high detailed Transformers?!

One very important fact is... that this one MUST have the transformation to the car or to the spaceship or to whatever, because this bachelor animation should include this transformation.

It would be very nice if you can give me a hint, how good my choise for Buster Optimus Prime ROTF is...

for an easy one to scratch build in model materials try GETAWAY. This could work well as something to make before doing the computer graphics part

He's a large-ish eengine master from the late 1980's early 1990's

He has a decent amount of articulation in him, and i've built one about 6 years ago when doing engineering at uni. He's relativly simple but fun.

Got to go dig my version out, made of wood, no metal in him at all

uuummm..... wait, what? don't use a figure that already exists for that! Copyrights! make your own. if your as into CGI Animation as you say, then think one up. you can use figures as reference though. Still, Complexity isn't all there is to it! Exicution is VERY key in this whole process. But don't take my word for it, HERE:

See? Not so complex. It actually looks more "CLASSIC". mixing real world settings and CGI together can have a very stunning effect! you just need to work it right!

By the way, Welcome to Seibertron! I technically never got a welcome, and I don't spite people for it, but it's always nice! Best of luck to you, and post the product here when your done! I'm sure alot of people here would love it!
