I saw an image of Optimus' holodriver, it turned out to be Peter Cullen (tfwiki.net-->Peter Cullen-->Alliance Isue 1), why hasn't anybody tought of a HA figure, with him as the human?

Because he would be super huge and too expensive, also if you want a plastic Peter Cullen, get the TF07 Voyager Prime mold.

How so? It would be somewhere between Voyager and Leader class, and they could sell it for $40-$50. It would be smaller and less expensive than Ultimate OP.

I imagine another problem with HA Optimus is that to be in scale with the other HAs, it'd need to be at least Leader class sized and likely priced accordingly. And from what I understand, and I heard this either here or TFW2005's boards, retailers require an electronic feature for a figure that expensive to justify selling it for that amount.

Honestly, even with electronics put on an accessory like Leader Bumblebee, we're talking a Cyber Ops Bumblebee sized figure.

No, they're not. Unless all the human characters in the movies are midgets.

Why would HA OP have to be in scale with other HA figures? They don't have a "rule" like that for any other scale or line.

Another HA Optimus thread, yes or no?

Well, it's been a few weeks...may as well!

Based on how poopy the last few movie Optimus figs have been, I vote no. And if it's not going to be roughly in scale with the other HA figs, all the more reason for it to be no.

The REALLY funny thing is, most of the HA human partners are roughly in scale with the Deluxe vehicle modes for most of the automobiles, give or take a few percentage points.

What I find odd is that the HA Basic humans are smaller than the original HA humans. Megan Fox is like an Amazon compared to Sgt Chaos, maybe he likes it that way?

And why would they go through all the trouble of creating a line of figures that have scaled alt-modes to each other and then ruin it all up by putting in an out-of scale one? That's the whole appeal of the line in the first place, since it's like movie-verse alternators and the larger scale gives Hasbro opportunity to make the figures more complex and (kinda) more movie accurate.

Agreed. Also, the humans aren't that out of scale with the Human Alliance toys. Assuming they are in scale, the humans all fall between 5 and 6 feet, a little shorter than average.

For example, the first Sam figurine would be 5 feet 4 inches when compared to HA Bumblebee, short but not unusual. Compared to deluxe Bumblebee, Sam would be 6 feet 11 inches tall, the height of a typical center in the NBA.

Anyway, the only way I would get a HA Optimus Prime is if he was in scale with the regular HA toys... and that's never going to happen.

Well, the electronics are not a huge prob, i can tell you, for I have dismantled my leader ROTF OP (a huge customization, more on that later), and it is a tiny board, something like 1.25 per 1.25 sq. inches, if the figure were redesigned, so that the cells could fit inside the fuel tanks, the board could fit on the back, right in the actual position of the cells.... Most of the space inside the chest is taken for the mechanism that makes OP flex his "pecs", I would gladly give up that function for the space for Peter.......

If there was a Human Alliance Prime, I can just imagine the amount of complaints some people would make regarding how difficult he was to transform. The same people who found Leader Prime to be most difficult transformer they ever encountered would probably give up halfway and say that it's too complicated.
