Hey again, all.

I've had no problems with Human Alliance Barricade except for a very tight thumb - but Frenzy - his left arm ball joint was so tightly stuck inside the socket, I had to twist his arm by a whopping 180 degrees before the ball joint finally shifted, with that little thin connecting stick between the ball joint and the arm noticeably warping and bending while I raised/lowered his left arm.

Needless to say, the inevitable happened; his damned arm ripped off the socket. I don't feel too bad about it actually (I had a feeling this Frenzy is defective, what with also having to make something in him *snap* just to rotate his torso), but I have to now think of trying to either fix the problem somehow, or buy a whole new damn HA set just for another little Frenzy bugger that may or may not have the same problem. No more popping out of chest with guns blazing poses for Frenzy

What should I do?

I know Wal-Mart will exchange it considering part of the toy is defective/broken. Any other store, I can't tell you with any certainty. Call em up and ask what the return policy is.

I've tried forcing open Frenzy's chest to get at the ball joint inside but I swear the thing was heated shut - can't get it to open. Even then I'm not sure if I could manage to rejoin the broken pieces. Yep Flux, looks like I most likely have to return the whole blasted thing, even after painting Barricade a little and modding his hips to extend fully.

Any of the big three will honor a return with a receipt. That being said you don't even really need a receipt. Just take it back and ask to trade up for a new one. They won't give you any slack, receipt or not.

Without a receipt? That's funny, my local TRU makes sure I have one before I can turn in something I got from there. Better managerial policy, I guess.

Anyways, in the end it shouldn't be too much of a big deal. Still, I don't really like how I managed to wind up with a defective Frenzy.

I guess I'm a bit of a sweet talker, but I've never needed a receipt for a trade or full refund. But hey, that's Canada for ya. Everyone (for the most part) is just so god damned nice.

Wal-Mart will only let you slide without a receipt once per year. I am assuming others are like that as well. Haven't had to return something in quite some time now.

my sam witwiky's arm broke off too. now i must superglue it back in.
