The people at Hasbro Toy Shop are often very helpful. YOu might try calling their phone number and telling them you think the computer isn't working, and they might take care of you.

My shipments from Hasbro Toy Shop have been coming piecemeal. One toy here, 2 toys there. I have so far received these three:

Just called Hasbro's customer service line. Their website's swamped with problems since last night, and they're hoping to have it fixed before tomorrow morning.

Given the way the problems looked while I was experiencing them, I was afraid there was a security breach! Turns out that the weird url I kept getting redirected to is their backend. What I had confirmed, though, is that 25Fall is still good, and they're just asking everyone to save their carts for now.

The shipping was pretty fast for me.
I ordered Classics Cliffjumper and Ramjet on the first.
They shipped on the third and I got them on the 5th.

Shipping for me has been unusually slow on this order. I got the email that it had shipped on Thursday the 27th and still no box. All I ordered was a Cybertron minicon team.

When I've ordered in the past its always arrived sooner than the estimated date. Guess they are just swamped now.

Weird thing... I ordered with the code of course... But I ordered with my card, and the transaction shows up on my bank statement as "pending" so it hasn't gone through yet. 24 hours later, when all my "pending" transactions are posted to my account, I get an email from HTS saying that my order has shipped. This is on the second. However, the email says this:

Here's the real big thing that's worrying me. Going back to my bank account statement, the pending transaction for this deal has vanished from my statement. I look down in the fully posted transactions. Nowhere in there. Then I look at my total amount in my bank account, and the money that was subtracted from my account for this has been added back to my account.


Anybody got anything for as to what the hell's up with all this? At first I thought that maybe I typo'ed my card number in checkout, but then I remembered that it had shown up as "pending" to my account. But then it just vanished...

Or they completely canceled my order. If that were the case, I'd think I'd have heard something, though.

But I mean, at first I was, but now I have not been charged for it. If these guys show up at my doorstep, then they were completely free for me.

I was wondering what the HECK that meant. I also didn't have the pending charge on my account as well. However, I did get an e-mail, my account charged, and today my package. I really hope that this is what is happening to you, DeathNoble.

On an odd note, I KNOW I also ordered Ramjet. These are Christmas presents and I KNOW I was going to order him.... None of the e-mails show that I did order Ramjet, nor the invoice. But I was so sure I did because none of the stores anywhere near me sell any other Transformers toys other then the movie ones.

That's the opposite of what happened to me. I had $198 in my account, and I made the order on October Second which came to a total of $57 and when viewing my bank statement on that day, showed the transaction as "pending" and the total in my account was lowered to $141 total. When I came home from work the next day, October Third, is when I found that email in my Gmail inbox. But when I went to check my bank statement after reading the email, the "pending" transaction had vanished, there was nothing listed in "posted" transactions, and my account was back to $198.

I see what you're saying, Auto Bot, but the problem with that idea is that this all was days before the promo code was over. I was really crossing my fingers like an idiot and hoping that it would all be worked out by now, but... To no avail.

Its no big loss, really. Just a missed opportunity at a sale, which is something I can live with. I was never actually charged the money, so its not like I've lost anything. Just if these figures show up at my doorstep, then they're unpaid for. And that makes me uneasy.

Or, I go out and buy these figures at nearby stores. Then the figures show up at my doorstep AND the charges magically appear on my account.



And on sort of off-topic note, my bank just more than doubled my credit card limit without me asking... :shock: Does anybody else's bank do that?

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. That really sucks.

I personally don't have a bank cc, but my Military cc does that when I've made several on-time payments. It's to get you to spend more then it is a reward I think. It worked for me when my computer died though.

And yeah, I figured that's what they were doing. Like this time I was in line at the bank at I saw a sign saying they could help you with owning a home. First thing that flashed across my mind was "Help is a deadly word at a bank..."

Last year with the same sale, I received items which Hasbrotoyshop reported as Not Yet Shipped, but with expectation to ship on a day previous. They're wonky that way, but everything arrived eventually.

Just out of curiosity, i decided to order some minicons. I used the 25FALL code and everything went through. I even have my order number. It remains to be seen if I will get any e-mail like you guys did.

Still, isn't all of this automated? As in, if the promo is finished, when you key in the promo code some message will tell you it's no longer valid? For example, that's what Target.com does with its promo codes. Why make customers go through all this rigmarole if in the end the offer's ended? Will wait a bit and see if I get any e-mail stating that my order didn't go through.

When you say showed up, showed up where? On HTS? On your bank account? In your email?

Bonecrusher27, that's something I'm really trying to contemplate with Hasbro right now. If they decided to pull the plug on my order, then good for them. I wouldn't lose sleep over it. I just would think I'd get an email along the lines of "Our special systems say your credit card number is fake so we decided to cancel your order. Toodles."

Its the same card I've been using to order from BBTS for at least 6 months now and even Paypal and/or Ebay so don't see the problem there.

I think they canceled my order for some reason and decided they were too busy to let me know. Which kinda is bad business sense, but from everything everyone 'round these here parts has to say about Hasbro themselves... :(
