He-man and She-ra should be the power couple.

I was very scarred by She-ra not going back to Eternia with He-man.
I always thought their combined power would be greater than the sum of their parts. This alternate story line would result in He-man leaving his father and mother on Eternia to be united to his wife Adora on Etheria. That way they could be together.
They would fight together to free Etheria from the evil Horde and live happily ever after. The End.

And if you actually watched She-Ra, Princess of Power, you'd see Adora says she's He-Man's twin sister in the opening credits. Every Single Episode.

If they would have gotten together, Adora could have said, "I am Adora, He-man's wife...."

I'm merely saying in a reboot of the series, or a parallel universe, it would be more desirable for me that He-man goes to Etheria and gives the sword to Adora, and they fall in love, unrelated to each other.
It made no sense that Adora was never mentioned in the He-man cartoon, and that they gave up trying to find her. It makes the whole She-ra story sad from start to finish, when she flies away from He-man.
If they were soulmates He-man would have stayed with her on Etheria and fought by her side. It's consistent with "a man will leave his father and mother and be united with his wife".
Come on would you be able to rest until your baby daughter was found. Would you give up and stop talking about her? They had Zodac, who sees all that goes on in the universe, and was able to direct them to He-man after Skeletor banished him.

I'm sorry. I should have labeled this thread "Filmation He-man and She-ra" because like G1 Transformers, it is "Simply the Best!", better than all the rest.

Well She-Ra wasn't a concept when the show began, and when they came up with her they decided it was best to do a spin-off show instead of a third season of He-Man. At least, from my understanding, I'm no expert.
However, they did sneak a reference to her(and the Evil Horde, though not by name) into the episode "The Origin of the Sorceress":
That's her sword, and it wasn't an accident according to the producers/writers.

Don't you think it would have been better continuity-wise for Adora not to have been kidnapped? It made it look like King Randor, Queen Marlena, Man-At-Arms, and The Sorceress all gave up and went on with their lives. They were failures as Adora's guardians.

palace and kidnap Adora from Queen Marlena and Man-At-Arms I was
sad.
When I saw Hordak successfully escape through a portal laughing,
shooting at, and taunting the Sorceress and Man-At-Arms I was
disheartened.
When Adora had to tell her parents that she had to leave Eternia
and go back to Etheria because of Hordak, I was mad.
When Adora was saying her goodbyes to Adam, Cringer, and the
Sorceress I cried, especially when the Sorceress says, "Just come back to us" and Adora replying, "I will", but she never did and now never will.
When Adora flew away on Swiftwind saying her final farewell to
He-man I was scarred, especially when I saw the tear fall from
He-man's eye.
So do you still think the kidnapping storyline was a good idea.
I think it damaged children all over the country, ruined their
childhoods like the death of Optimus Prime and the reformatting
of Megatron. Adora was kidnapped twice, once as a baby against
her will and again as an adult by her own choice because of
Hordak's manipulation, pressure, persuasiveness, and determination to keep her on Etheria and within his clutches.
The kidnapping made Adora's story a tragedy. Kids are not ready
for that. Let them be happy and enjoy the happiness of their
youth. Don't toss reality like that on them at such a tender, young, fragile age.

Like a certain couple in the Sailor Moon dub, who were not related at all in the original?

So if He-man would have been a Japanese cartoon, we would not be having this discussion?

Yeah, how dare you change stuff for the US Sailor Moon dub, RhA? Screw you, you racist prick.
