Finally got around to buying and playing
Assassin's Creed
Really cool game once you get started. Finished the first "act", as I'll call it. I don't plan on spoiling anything. I am proud I spotted Kristen Bell's voice right away. Yes I'm a Heroes fan.. Really cool game. Have to play more tomorrow.
Mass Effect
Doing Missions for the experience. I am afraid I am too under leveled. Not high enough to try to take on Saren or continue the main quest just yet. I mainly use Ashley and Garrius on my team though. I am getting sick of Elevators btw..
Fallout 3
Finished everything in Point Lookout. Was going to try to get to 30, but I'll wait for Mothershhip Zeta later this month.
I have a bunch of other games I need to finish, but this is what I am currently playing.

Conquered! Finally beat this classic title with a little help from some online maps and a YouTube video showing how to get through the last level. Took me a few hours, but it was definitely worth it!

Soul Calibur Legends
Been an excruciatingly frustrating day with this one. My team has separated. Lloyd and Ivy took the library, clearing it of monsters and earning Ivy the VAlentine blade. Easy enough. Taki and Sophitia took the himalayan route, having to defeat no less than 2 dragons. Took a few tries but beat it and got the Omega sword for Sophitia.
Spent over an hour on Astaroth & Mitsurugi's mission but couldn't beat it. Quite simply, I kept getting outnumbered, leaving me fighting 7 assassins at once (of which I could only see 3 due to camera issues). Fighting berzerkers in flames wasn't much fun either. Gave up and tried Seigfried's mission.
Siegfried's mission isn't much better. The level itself isn't too bad but only having Siegfried means I can't just 'tag out' if the enemy's start fighting cheap. And yes, they fight cheap (simultaneous unblockable bull charges by 3 berzerkers took out half my health in 3 seconds.
). At the end, it's time to fight the first boss again, only he's stronger and I don't have the benefit of a partner. Got my ass handed to me repeatedly.
Giving up for the night. Will return to this once the self-inflicted cranial injuries heal up.

*looks around nervously.*
No one in the area. seems deserted. should be safe to post again.
[b]Soul Calibur Legends[b/]
The game apparently felt pity for me because the infuriating levels I mentioned before are actually playing fairly... well, fair enough that I could actually beat them.
Took Taki and Sophitia through Fu-Ma village to defeat Geki and Maki again, earning Taki the Meki-Maru blade. Mitsurugi and Astaroth survived a mountain climb to earn Mitsurigu's shishi-oh, then a trip to egypt to earn Astaroth his Terror Moon axe. Lloyd and Ivy fought Cervantes again (who was even nice enough to re-use his entry cutscene from our first round even though Soul Edge is nowhere nearby at this time), earning Lloyd a new set of blades as well.
Siegfried managed to single-handedly defeat a dragon boss but got no reward. Instead, he had to go to the himalayas to fight his darker self (no, not Nightmare) and face the truth of his past and why he wanted Soul Edge.
With all parties sufficiently empowered and having defeated all of the Masked Emperor's forces (all of whom were apparently working for Barbaros because no enemy types have changed), we're heading back to Vienna.

Apparently video games are no longer cool and I missed the memo. Shucks.
Soul Calibur Legends
GAME.OVER!
In groups of two, my team took down the 3 gates to the castle, allowing Siegfried a way into the Emperor's throne room. In the throne room, fought the Soul Calibur-empowered emperor by beating her at her own game. She fights by spamming cheap moves, so I spammed even cheaper moves, leading to a hard-fought but empty victory.
After this, the emperor turned out to be a puppet, literally. The true villain revealed himself, taking both Soul Calibur and Soul Edge, growing red&blue wings, and taking me to another realm. In that realm, fought 1, then 2, then 3 of him at once, usually fighting by throwing his attacks back at him.
After his defeat, returned to the throne room to watch him Die. Siegfried took Soul edge with him this time, leaving Soul Calibur's location a mystery. Siegfried apparently having learned his lesson about power for power's sake, left to redeem himself. Of course, after the credits, the image of Nightmare's foot next to the re-powered soul edge kinda ruins any chance for redemption there. Oh well.
This game was bad. I mean, really bad. But not terrible. It was bad because it did nothing to stand out other than its use of the Soul Calibur name and story. There were quite a few times I felt frustrated by its cheapness but just as many times I felt like I'd achieved something. Unfortunately, the good points were way too far apart to make this a reccomended title. for $20, I can't complain. But I'm glad I didn't pay the full price.

Final Fantasy VII:
BEATEN! Final Party of Cloud, Cid, and Yuffie, each of whom had their Ultimate Weapons and Level 4 Limit Breaks. Also, I killed Emerald Weapon (Cait Sith's Slots are so much easier to manipulate on PSP...) and got the Master Materia. As such, Safer Sephiroth went down with one good shot of Knights of the Round (Actually a bit shorter than I expected) and an Omnislash, plus a couple of regular hits.
Half-Life 2:
When in doubt (And separated from Internet but still in possession of a computer) there's always Half-Life. Currently rampaging through Nova Prospekt.

Been away for a while, haven't I? D'ya miss me? No? Didn't think so.
MechWarrior 2 Battlepack Edition [PC]:
Patched for WinXP and kick'n ass. Doing a Jade Falcon Clan campaign. Stuck on the hostile moon mission, as the Wolves keep making me fail the mission, but it won't tell me why. And my damn Starmate's as bright a freebirth toad!
Eagerly anticipating the new MechWarrior game.
Broken Sword [GBA]:
At the museum, spoke to the specialist about the Assassins and the Templars. He doesn't believe that the museum will be robbed. Oh well, his loss.
Resident Evil 1: Director's Cut - DualShock Edition [PSX]:
Playing as Chris. Going to get the Python, then dropping down the hole the Yawn left when I boomstick'd his asp. (See what I did there? Snake humour.)
Duke Nukem: Zero Hour [N64]:
Got to the Statue of Liberty. Gonna rip 'em a new one.

A vastly underrated game, I must say. I had a fun time with it. Kinda wish there were more time zones to play through though.
Guitar Hero: World tour
let's see where I stand. Completed the guitar tour on Medium/hard. Currently trying to get my level up to expert on all songs.
Bass trip's about 2/3 done. I was bored out of my mind for the first 6 or so gigs as the bass parts were boring as hell, even on expert. The tool gig was a welcome change even though it kicked my ass.

When I play Medic, more often than not I find the needle gun and Blutsauger aren't effective, usually because if something killed whatever I was healing, (Typically a Heavy, which would have 450 constantly-regenerating HP) it's going to make short work of me. (A medic with 150 slowly regenerating HP)
I do have the Medic's hat, though, the only one I've obtained so far. (It's random, by the way, there's a 0.5% chance of getting one per minute)
And you're not on my Steam list. So I just added you.

Thanks for add!
I don't find the Needlers to be effective either. Not low damage, non-hitscan BS, that's what it is. But, when the Heavy you're healing is taken down and you're making a B-line for supplies, shooting enemies and grabbing 3HP for each needle that hits 'em adds up, you know? Especially if you're on fire!
I haven't found any Hats yet. I remember reading about this Achievement tool that you could keep running on your computer. You'd turn it on, it'd log you in, and it would just wait. Basically, you'd leave it on and hope that you'd get some new gear due to that randomly-giving-equipment thing o' theirs. I never tried it and I'm not sure if they cracked down on it or not.

I dunno about that, but the popular method (At least before they brought back Milestones) was to start a server, spawn, then wait. Perhaps go to work, or school, or what have you. Most people end up making their servers kick anyone who tries this, typically because it makes them take a player slot that could go to someone who actually wants to play the game.

1) Make your own password-protected server.
2) Join it and/or have friends join it.

Yep, that's the method, though the one time I tried it I came up empty. People complained that they couldn't get the new weapons because this was too much work, ignoring that A) It's a game and B) only rarely is an unlockable weapon superior to the original. (The Medic's equipment, the Flare Gun, Cloak and Dagger)

Some servers autokick upon inactivity, I'm not sure if that's on by default.
I just liked the fun of just playing and randomly getting items now and again, for no reason at all.

Cleared level 5, which brings the first episode to a close. Having fun with this game though only playing one level at a time to strive off my need for more indepth gameplay.
I also have the say I don't think I've ever seen a boss as big as the Necrogiant before. He dwarfs the Cyberdemon in Doom III. I'm talking big. So big that most of my grenades missed him because I kept underestimating his size and thinking I was closer than I really was.

Necrogiant was freakin' massive. He definitely holds some kind of record.
Metal Gear:
The original MSX version, too...on MGS3: Subsistence...
Just got the second key card and the RC Missile. I'm sure I'll get to shoot a giant robot with it, this IS Metal Gear after all.

MechWarrior 2 Battlepack Edition [PC]:
Phew, beat that mission on the hostile moon of MacDuff for Clan Jade Falcon. Now my next mission is-- another Escorting mission in which I have to protect a defenceless supply convoy. Hurray.
Resident Evil: Director's Cut - DualShock Edition [PSX]:
Playing as Chris. Got the Python, reached the caves, found the Flamethrower, met Enrico who thought I was a traitor. inb4 Wesker.
Lunia [PC]:
Got to Level 55. Haven't tried facing the boss of Episode 5 yet, seeing as how hard Episodes 3 and 4's bosses were. Trying to find the item and gold I need to be able to unlock the Bounty Hunter character, who has a rifle in his left hand, and a gatling gun attached to his right arm.

I'm really glad they made this version available. The original NES version had a few inconsistencies in the story—like being able to beat the game without even destroying Metal Gear. Though, the NES version had catchier music.

Beat. Even managed to score a nice 40GPs for unlocking the "Nice Guy" achievement—because that's what I am!

MSX Metal Gear is the real Metal Gear. The NES version, as great as it is, can't hold a candle to the MSX original. And that's saying a lot!

Metal Gear Solid 4:
Playing through this again specifically for the statues, seeing as how I screwed up with them last time. (Missed almost every one of them except for the FROG Statue and Screaming Mantis) About to start the Eastern Europe mission. Which will be made exceptionally easy by way of the Haven Camo I obtained. (Enemies do more damage, but 99% camo rating when you stand still, meaning you can stand in one place and take out an army, assuming they didn't see you move there)
