Has anyone else seen this:
http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index.jsp ... d_prodinfo$64.99 CAD for Unicron! This is only $5 more than Leader Class. When he came out in Armada he cost $79.99 or $89.99 didn't he? Some serious price reductions here with the stronger dollar.
Still more than its release in the US but hey it is better than the past:

You can say that again! I saw a post on Cybertron.ca explaining that Unicron was priced at $65, but it wasn't until your post that my brain went >doink< and I understood what a deal he is.
Now to pull together the cash and wait!
I'll be doing my scouting later this week, and I'll tell you guys if I see anything new on the South Shore of Montreal.

Bit surprising considering the retail price increases in the US on TFs of late. Maybe this might mean that Leaders will go down to $49.99 and Voyagers and Deluxes follow suit. Won't hold my breath.
Good luck with your search!

You're telling me! I was really surprised to see the price. I had heard something about 'price adjustment,' but I never expected to see it... And Zellers of all places, with their terrible stock/restocking! (Plus they seem to get Target exclusives, too. They'd better get GI Joe exclusives!)

I hear ya. Hope they also start filtering down some price adjustments on the GI Joe figures as well. Think they will ever reissue the USS Flagg from way back when? I would pick it up!

I don't know, the Flagg was a massive beast of a vehicle playset, over 7 feet of awesome. Then again, Hasbro has been trying their new 'super huge' price point (giant Millennium Falcon and Clone Wars Walker), and there's a new USS Flagg design in the upcoming GI Joe cartoon, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see!

You touched on the reason I asked as Hasbro re-released the Millennium Falcon (which I did pick up). Given the 25th anniversary for GI Joe. Anything is possible. Fingers crossed!

Thing is, that new "BMF" Falcon isn't a rerelease - it's a new mould! You thinkin' what I'm thinkin'?

I believe so. USS Flagg is going to be redone with a few more bells and whistles. Nothing wrong with that! FRIGGIN A IMHO! Imagine the price point though.
$399 at least!

Picked up the Universe 2-packs at Zellers. I found 2 problems though. Roadbusters front doesn't seem to want to stay together in vehical mode. And then I open up Springer to find one of his "wings"/half of his tail is missing.

Hasbro quality control blows big time chunks all over the place. Typical. This is one reason I keep most of my TFs MISB. Don't know what I can't see or find out about.

Zellers at Erin Mills Town Center had the Universe two-packs. I bought the only Roadbuster / Dirge, and left the Springer / Ratbat pack.
I would have bought it but I didn't have enough cash on me.
I'll go back tomorrow if one of you luck bastards pick it up.
Also a ton of wave 2 activators at Heartland Walmart.
