The Energon Pub

Hi guys this one was for my son alex. He had asked me if I could make his animated grimlock different....so after suggesting G2 colours to which he replied "whats G2?" I explain it and showed him and this is what came of it...it had been a while but he is all hand painted except the silver and the red. A mix of testor acrylics and enamals and then sealed with a few coats og clear coat. I also had decided that I hated his hands and I wanted them to look like the original figure so I took a pair of hands from a junker animated Snarl and some styrene, mighty putty, and a few balls and sockets from a rotf soundwave later and grimmy had som full wrist articulation hands! now to be fair they are parts forming but he loves them. Awesome! G2 Grimlock (along with Slag and Snarl) were my very first TFs, so I'll always have a certain interest in these kinds of customs.

I wantedto do something my son didn't know much about so g2 was an easy sell and I love that colour scheme
