Found some nice things today. The new DC Superheroes Joker and Bruce Wayne to Batman. I also found the $20 Boba Fett christmas thing (blaster is a candy cane and han is gift wrapped for Jaba) it's awesome.

Sorry if this seems dumb, but mind if I ask what kinds of things go on at X-travacon? Do lots of people go costumed or mundane? *knows very little about cons, except anime cons*

Just street clothes from what I've seen. They do drawings during the show for comics and other stuff.

This is not your larger convention, this just groups of local sellers who get together, about once a month, to sell stuff to the community and collectors.
It's a great deal at $3, but no there are no artists, or former movie/TV stars there signing autographs (just God Magnus), but there are a lot of comic books, and toys for sale, a good number of Michiganders from here, and well, yeah that's about it.

i see that tt will be paying for this transgression for a long time
might i suggest a swanky dinner immediately after? and perhaps before?
pretty much the con doubles up as the unofficial michiganders meet up. as for dressing up i've seen a couple of munchkins in costumes, but no one over 9. it's comics, toys and a little bit of games.

sweet... the Hot Rod statue is in at BBTS. Just waiting for the ship my loot button to show up. then I can have them ship the statue and Stampy. hopefully, the button will show up soon I can have them by friday. most likely it'll be monday though

I'm looking forward to the con, even though they are not advertising the date of their website. When they're every couple weeks it starts to become mundane. As always, I'll be looking to unload some of my collection. So don't use all your coin on Black Friday. Hopefully the angry fellow with the 'fell off a truck' prices will have the new Joe's, as I am still lacking anything past Wave 1.
