been wanting to pick up an ehobby Ultra Magnus, but the head throws me way off. I mean, sure Magnus has a Prime head at the core anyway, but it's too similar to the Scourge look... for me at least. initially i wanted something like the first few Magnus customs [ehobby Magnus with added G1 Magnus parts].

however, this recent Japanese custom [without the G1 Magnus parts] had just the look that i was after, all with just a [scratchbuilt, apparently] new head.



Since I know nothing about sculpting from scratch, I was wondering if a Myclone Magnus head would work. i was thinking it might be too big. or would it? sadly I only have RiD Scourge and no Myclones to test the size against. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't know about Myclones - aren't they SD TFs? In which case, even on the full size body, I have a feeling it'd still look somewhat too chibi. Keep a lookout for PVCs, though; I'm sure that's where that head came from anyway. The hands are from one of those Master Grade Gundams, aren't they?

Hmm... you could be right, actually. It looks slightly rough round the face, and he does seem to have unusually large eyes...
