I got the Takara Overlord in the mail today! I had the Hasbro one, but when I saw this one on sale I sort of wanted to get it too. Mostly because of the paint apps, the better looking titan masters, and the "armored" mode.

Also I bought some flame effects. They work better with Smolder than the do with Overlord because of the size of them.

I got both off of Sirtoys. Went over Overlord when he got here and I can say that I'm 90% sure that it isn't a KO. I mean, usually Sirtoys lists items as KO's if they are, and this one was listed as the real thing. But it's always good to be sure.

I just realized that I have an issue.

I seem to have accidentally started a Masterforce Destrons collection without knowing it.

Which means I have some older figures to track down, and some newer ones to plan for.

Well here's what I'll be doing this evening. On the left is Takara Legends Overlord with Giga, and Hasbro Titans Return Overlord with Mega. Gonna reprolabel them up, but I'm mostly going to be putting stickers on Mega Overlord and whatever I don't use on her I'll use on Giga Overlord. I've just kinda put Dreadnought on my shelf somewhere because I don't care about him.

Well since I have two of this one, here's the Reprolabeled Hasbro Overlord (Now Overlord Mega) on the left, and Takara Overlord (Overlord Giga) on the right, just to show their differences.

Then I tried to get a "promo shot" type picture of them. Sort of something like what you would see in a magazine ad in the 90's or something. Of course I only say that because every damn picture I tried like this came out blurry *grumblegrumble*

Finally, I went and did a base mode with both of them that I tried to get to look like the G1 toy base mode. I kinda really love this. Very much like the G1 toy, there's no real connection between the center piece and the two side pieces.
