Tehcnically he is but you gotta make a profile and sample post that is in accordance with the character and the RPG rules
Here's the stuff for the rules.

Don't hesitate to ask if you need help fine-tuning your char's profile.
Also, a heads up, I posted a Jetfire Profile on the New char apps page back in December and it's been in limbo since in. I know with everything going on with holidays and PC problems, things have slown down. I was wondering if I can get a yay or nay (so I can do another pass and get the profile sorted out and polished if need be.)

I talked with Ember today and her situation has not improved. Her computer is officially dead and she doesn't know when she'll be getting a new one. I will officially be NPCing her characters until her return and try to get things going again soon.

Greetings once again. After many weeks of long and arduous waiting I finally am back online. I just got my laptop delivered today and I am in the process of getting it set up. Just give me a day or two to catch up on all of my emails and the like to start posting again.
Thanks, Dev, for looking after my characters while I was gone.

It seems that now it's my turn for some computer problems. It looks like they may be severe so my online time will be going down dramatically. I plan to get it fixed asap but don't be surprised if I'm out for awhile. I'd appreciate it if Ember and Cry helped looked after my characters. Thank you.

I am very sorry, guys, but I'm taking a break from the RPG.
There have been a few things which have distracted me greatly, and consequently, withered my interest in the game. Over the last couple of nights, I've tried to whip up a post for Screamer ('cause I know I was starting to fall behind), but I just couldn't do it; I'm finding it extremely difficult to concentrate and write for my characters due to these problems.
I'm hoping I can sort these few things out so I can return to contribute to this great game ( for the very short time I've been here, I've had a blast).
Until then, all.

Greetings. I have been out of work for about a year and could not afford an internet connection. Recently I have found a job and can afford such a luxury again. I would like to RPG again, but know I have a troubled past with this board. If you guys will have me, I'd like to start up again.
I reviewed the Roll Call section and did not see some of my favs being played at the moment. Just to be safe before posting anything are the following available/allowed?
Inferno
Countdown
Thrust
Thank you, I hope you guys will have me back. I'll understand if you don't. A little disappointed, but I'll understand.

Inferno and Thrust are available for application. Countdown would have to be reworked in order to make it into the game. As is there are no Micromasters in the game so he'd have to be considered a full TF and as such his stats would have to be reduced.

My mistake, I meant more Countdown from the Universe toy line. WOuld that be acceptable, with a stats reduction?

I've recently returned to this RPG out of curiosity. I made a character a long time ago but I never really started playing with it, so I'm pretty sure it just got wiped or something. In any case, I want to create a new fan-made character, but need some help working around with the stats, and preferably some help getting used to forum roleplay again. So...yeah. Hi.

Hello.
Welcome back. I'll be more than happy to help you out in any way I can. First, you might want to re through the rules as some may have changed. Also, it'll help a great deal to read the game summary, it'll help you get an idea of what's going on in the game. The summary also tells a lot about the game setting. Knowing the backround and setting will make it a little easier to create a new character.
Once you've familurized yourself with the game backround and whatnot send me a PM about any specific questions you have.

Hey guys. The staff has been discussing an upcoming storyline and the possibility of blowing up the whole infiltration came up. Basically as a result of this storyline we could dump the whole infiltration and hiding from humans part of the game. This would obviously have some major repercussions and shifts in the tone of the game. We could also run this storyline while keeping the whole infiltration and remaining hidden from humans part intact. Either way the storyline will work out.
What we want to know is which do you prefer? Do you want to continue with the infiltration? Hiding from humans and doing more covert types of operations? Would you prefer leaving the infiltration part behind and having more open battles between the two sides? Both have good and bad points. The staff is fine going either way, but we want to hear what you want to do. Think about it carefully and feel free to post your thoughts in this thread
Thank you.

Re: Chatterbox
I have been thinking about this a lot myself. I have begun to feel that the game is starting to get a little stale and I think it is partly to blame for the infiltration focus. I have observed that since I started playing in 2008 that there are some characters who have never left their home base, I believe Brawn is a good example. I think this is pretty bad as this means there are players who just sit around and talk with other players on their same side. They do not get the chance to get out and fight or anything like that.
I think the infiltration phase of this game has passed and it is time to move onto something else. Hopefully if we move onto something different then we can generate more interest in the game and get some new blood in here.

Re: Chatterbox
Yes and no. From the major populace and governments, yes they need to remain hidden still. Given what has happened, the bots need to take things slow. It's human nature for humans to fear what they don't understand. Many governemnts, particularly superpowers who would feel threatened, tend to be paranoid without proper understanding and established trust. If the TF's transform into robot mode out right, before the masses be it populace, govt, or military, the results would be negative.
If the Autobots revealed themselves to a smaller group of humans, two or three, they could help them to show the world what is going on, and possibly gain better results, and learn more about human culture in the process. Really, it would have to be humans that are younger and open to the possibilities of extraterrestial life actually existing.
For the Decepticons, I don't think Megatron would be the type to be conserned if their existance were discovered, as long as he gets what he wants in the end.
The govts clearly know the TF's exist and are probably wondering the TFs intentions, but at the moment, I think approaching the governments should be inadvisable. It does not mean the bots should not try to save the humans though.
Keeping it in inflitration mode, fully, would be counterproductive. Every story needs to progress. I think we're at a point where we can inch it along to interaction with few humans.

It’s funny. I’ve been thinking lately about what if we went beyond the infiltration phase. You guys read my mind!
I think it’s a great idea to change directions a bit if for no other reason than to keep things fresh and interesting. We could build upon the battle at Area 51 where the humans had the Dinobots and Shockwave, so at the very least the U.S. government already knows that TFs exist on Earth. Maybe a joint Autobot/military partnership would be something to consider in order to fight the Decepticons. Just a thought.
The general population doesn’t have to know at first, at least not until the Decepticons eventually decide to attack a major population center where a government cover-up wouldn’t work. But, that doesn’t have to happen right away.
So, I’m definitely all for moving forward and trying new things. Anything to help generate more interest in the game.

Personally? I think creeping slowly out of the infiltration phase will bring some welcome changes. I haven't been here long, but I think this is a good idea. If you admins can work out the story and how to do it, I'd like to see what comes from it.

I would say that escalating things slightly would be a good move, but not to the point where the Robots in Disguise theme is tossed away. Autobots should still be able to drive down the highway and fit in with the other cars, its just that sometimes they'll have to drive at 300mph or over a river to get where they need to go. Up the stakes and the need for deployment, but don't make stealth and subtlety irrelevant.
