Collections Other Than Transformers?
Are Transformers the only thing you collect? What else do you collect or did you collect in the past?
I've always had a collector mentality ever sicne I was a kid (some people say it's OCD, but whatever.)
Transformers have always been my main passion. When I was a kid I collected all kinds of things. Go-bots (needed front line cannon fodder...) Comic Cards, erasers, rocks and sea shells. Nowadays, aside from Transformers, my wife and I collect Disney Pins and most any kind of Disneyana especially Nightmare Before Christmas. So yes, I do have Mickey Mouse Optimus Prime, and will be getting Donald Duck Bumblebee. She is into Twilight as well... but none of the that stuff is on display...lol.

Transformers
DC Universe Classics
Gi Joe
Louisiana based sports figures (McFarlane)
I used to collect (and still have)
Dc Direct
Godzilla vinyl (Japanese exclusive ones)
Star Wars (used to collect, still have all my figs from 95 - 2002)
He Man (2002 line)
Marvel figs (select, legends, older X-men)
Power Rangers (only first 2 seasons)
Winners Circle and Racing Champions NASCAR (I have about 300 cars boxed up)
I would venture to say that I have roughly 15,000 + figures in my house.

Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

When I was a kid, I used to collect, as much an average kid "collects", GI Joe and Transformers figures mainly. In adulthood, I mainly collect robot action figures/models.
Transformers is obviously a major interest of mine. I used to collect Revoltech figures that were of mecha(VF-1J, Black Getter, Convoy, Megatron, Evangelion, etc.). I've started on Bandai's Gundam models and have also branched out into Kotobukiya's Super Robot Wars model kits and the Armored Core model kits too. I'm probably going to explore some resin conversion kits too. Gunpla and plamo in general are keeping me busy while I wait for the next waves of Transformers to arrive in my neck of the woods.
I'm also an animation fan. I love me some cartoons. I've got most of the Bruce Timm DCU cartoons on DVD. I've got most of the direct to video DC animated films.
Comic books were something I used to collect when I was a kid. I still am an avid reader but I tend to buy the collected volumes rather than go issue by issue these days. I'm more of a collector of story arcs and particular runs by writers and artists.

Transformers
Star Wars - a lot of books, some figures, and a lot of miniatures
GIJoe - few, but building up...
some Indiana Jones figures (a few MISB only - Grail Knight, The Ark & Jones, Professor Jones)
used to collect some trading cards (pokemon, WoW), and MageKnight minis, but the aging of old expansions was really fast (meaning if you don't have the newest expansion sets, you lost)

Just collecting anything that basically was a big part of my past. DVDs I have been collecting for over 7 years, everything that is me is in my collection, lots of zombies, shooters, heists, comedy. I just realized the other day that bandai is releasing old power rangers things, so I've been looking for the original megazord, because why, my parents threw away all my old toys.

Re: Collections Other Than Transformers?
I collect books. Dammit. If I come across an author I like, I hunt down everything they've written.
My TF collection is...odd. I get into a character and then search for that one character's various incarnations. (Right now: Onslaught is my prey). So I have very few characters, but a LOT of different versions. Because I know I'll never have the money (or space--CB how the heck do you store that monster collection?!?!) to be a completionist in the true sense. But every Starscream figure? Mmmmmaybe I can actually do THAT one.

Transformers are the majority of my collection, but I do purchase anything that piques my interest. I've got 2 full sets of Marvel Legends figures (the Galactus and Sentinel sets) as well as some oddities such as a Spider-man 2099 and Knightfall Batman action figure. I've got a transforming Escaflowne figure as well.
In my youth, I used to collect Ninja Turtles, Toxic Crusaders, and Marvel comics based toys, but mostly just for playing with rather than collecting.
I do have a fondness for some of the Power Rangers Zord designs but haven't purchased any in ages (I have the thunderzord, NinjaZord, and ShogunZord sets). In the lesser known category, I have the full-size Servo, Xenon, and Drago from the Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad series.

The jet mode was okay but looked just like a flattened dragon ferrying a dragon-headed ship under it. The Dragon mode was very cool, if slightly unposeable (though brickformers were the standard back then). Combined with Servo, the Phormo mode rocked on every level. Very samurai-esque, had wrist-mounted cannons and the entire dragon-ship body became a cannon. very Intimidating.
To answer your question, yes, it was awesome.

Re: Collections Other Than Transformers?

I`m collecting very few things at the moment. That would say, non. But i used to be a big collector of the LEGO brand called "BIONICLE", wich are buildable Action Figures. But then the line was cancelled, after nearly 10 years. I do still use my gigantic collection, though, most for building my own figures.
I`m also trying to save money for another LEGO brand, called "Hero Factory", that might be treated as the predecessor of BIONICLE. It is also a series of buildable action figures, and reuses pieces from BIONICLE. Though, Hero Factory is WAY better. They are gonna be released around August, i think.
Of course, there`s also Transformers. But i don`t own any, actually, though i`m considering using my confirmation money to buy most movie toys.
Oh, and i once had this thing for the trading cards "Yu-Gi-Oh!", though i don`t collect them anymore. I spent MNAY money on those cards... and i don`t even use them today. That really sucks...
So, by may, i`m going to be confirmed. SO I`m probably going to get a decent amount of money, and then i can afford to buy the large Transformers collection i want, and also the "Hero Factory" sets.
