Holy Moses, that Shockwave is like...a Shockwave and a half!

Finally a Goyager class Soundwave, and a Starscream without Popeye arms!

These Decepticons are beautiful, hehe. Megs looks great, but I have Maketoys CD Megatron and love it. Soundwave is awesome, strange alt-mode, but robot mode makes up for it. If they do a repaint Soundblaster its bought on sight, Soundwave, not sure yet. Refelctor is really cool if its smaller than a deluxe and I like they are packaged seperate for people who want to army build. Shockwave in his voyager form is perfect and I will buy it for sure. Guess at leader this would be his PotP if he won. Starscream looks cool but I dont need one as I have Planet X Starscream and love it. Also I have iGear Raptor Thundercracker, but if they make a Skywarp I am all over it. Good stuff in this line so far, no complaints really.

Not really feeling the "battle damaged" look. maybe a little rubbing alcohol can get rid of them. its cool they are doing a before G1 thing but some of these just dont make sense to me.

For example shockwave. shockwave never left cybertron so we should have gotten a faithful G1 version. i cant see laws getting in the way of that since they can sell nerf guns and that combo mode with extra arms, no.

Same with megatron. I get that they are doing the "he's a tank" thing because they want to get away from the whole making him look like a real gun but they could have made him like galvatron and he turns into a space gun. that would make more sense and be less like the TR version. We have a G1 looking megs tank, we dont need a dirty one.

good to see reflector finally. hopefully no battle damage so he can fit into any collection.

and what the hell did they do to soundwave? we actually saw his mode in the pilot episode being a...card reader? scanner thing? sure that would be kinda lame but this alt mode is terrible and has no ties to G1.

I wanted to reply to too many people so I will just write it here and if you'll know if I am referring to what you said.

Soundwave: The **** am I looking at with the alt mode? I have liked most of the alt modes for Soundwave so far but this one just doesnt work for me. It looks like a fat version of Alpha Trion's spaceship mode (same transformation too). It just feels like the least impressive alt mode that could have been done with that boxy body. Robot mode looks good though.

Shockwave: I knew this was coming but what I didnt predict was how useless that extra stuff would be. I dont need it and I hope that voyager at least turns into something on its own. I do not likethe idea of paying more for something I dont need. And it is super weird that his backpack is made up of other shockwave parts. Robot mode looks good though and I guess my Cyberverse Ultra's stay on my shelf will be short lived.

Megatron: Its fine, I have no problems with it. I like how I cant tell where everything goes unlike I did with the previous leader figure. And the sword is a nice homage to the G1 toy.

Reflector: Super puzzling as to the size. As far as I know there are no legends class toys in this line, so he would be a deluxe, but that sounds too big. Dont know. Smart execution though, probably the best of the bunch here.

Starscream: It reminds me of when we saw the POTP voyager starscream where we finally got a voyager sized seeker for generations, and yet I dont feel this outgoing excitement. There is something off with those proportions, its a very boxy look. The alt mode is supposed to be much sleeker but here it looks rather chubby, plus not a fan of that undercarriage. Its interesting how the closer they get to gving us a G1 rendition, the more critical we get.

Still a bit pissed I have to pay more for that voyager shockwave and that soundwave turns into nothing. Its like they went, "hey remember that cool alt mode we gave Optimus Primal in POTP, Soudwave should get that too".

Ok, there is too much excitement going on right here, and though not everything is perfect, (Looking at you Soundwave) there is still something here for everyone to like. :DANCE:

I do have a question though, who the heck is this?

Micromasters.

Edit: Okay, Brunt-with-a-robot-mode make more sense give the Weaponizers seem tied to pre-existing Citybots which got a Generations release.

This Siege line is really the best from TFs since a long time.

Figures in Seige won't have a gimmick that they traditionally didn't have, releases a Shockwave with super parts.

Well, it's an optional gimmick? Seems like you could throw these extra parts in the garbage and still have the full Shockwave. >:oP

Does he? Seems like he turn into a vague cybertronian spaceship. Just a smaller one without all the extra parts. Beside, you could just choose to ignore the combined robot mode and use the option where the parts become this little drone-thing.
