Here's my look at the new DX9 Carry (aka Rodimus Prime) figure. Overall, it's a pretty interesting take on the character, but I think I still prefer my MP-9 Rodimus. The all-in-one transformation is pretty neat, but for me the more accurate G1 cartoon aesthetic of MP-9 is more for me.

Seems less flimsy than MP-09. However, the huge back spoiler and the lack of insignia on the chest is just a buzzkill. But I understand it being a 3rd party figure they can't use the Autobot symbol. I might get it if I can find it cheaper than its initial price. I do like the vehicle mode.

Certainly is less flimsy than MP-9, but I still prefer the look of MP-9. The colours just pop a bit more I think, and the alt mode I think is better too, mainly because the separate trailer gives more options. The all-in-one transformation of Carry is pretty neat, but does lead to a massive rear wing/backpack.
