I gotta say i think neko hit the nail on the head of many a internetz problem, people too often let fly with uncensored and unkind opinions in the name of free speech. I am all for free speech, but when u act like a dilohole and then use "I am speaking my mind" as a reason it is really uncool.
i think alot of the main people on this thread oughta evaluate how they post-speaking your mind is great, just so long as you are mindful of others-otherwise this would become less of a fan forum and more of a fight club.
Thats my two cents anywho.
oh and I dig both versions of ultra magnus presented in this thread. I really gotta get around to doing some kustomising myself, i used to be pretty good with citadel minatures

MyClone was a Japanese line from a few years back.
Think "Super Deformed".

I got them from a guy that is a member here I think...or he's on TFW2005...not sure. His artist name was Aloshya but then again, I'm not sure... It's the remolded head of a Myclone head. If I can find some info I'll post them.

Yep, it's Aloshya. He's done a load of cool parts for bashers.

That'll help a ton - it's where I picked up a lot of my tricks.
I will agree with Tramp on the fact that to me, Magnus is, and always has been, the white Prime in armour - like he said, the cartoons were based on the toys; there was just a lot of lazy, bug-filled animation and Magnus' inner robot was never shown till DW.
But that's not what this fig is. It's a very cool interpretation. A few others have actually done similar to theirs (albeit without the shoulder extensions)... including using the MyClone head.

I've been gone. whaddid I miss?
this is about as late as somebody could come to a party. um...just wanted to say that I like the paint job. I don't think he needs a trailer although that would be cool. but not necessary.
nice work Qwailo!

Well im still on Holiday until sunday but i found an internet cafe in a near buy town and thought i´d see whats going on at Seibertron.com.
11 pages already...but its been interesting to read. Anyway i´ve actually been working on the Magnus Challenge while on holiday (hes not gonna be exactly like the challenge states, but close enough).
I think i´ve got the transformation perfect now so and he should have really good articulation. Once i begin to measure everything up and double check it all when i get back, i can start to build him. Its gonna mainly be made of lightweight wood but im gonna give him a plastic finish if i can.
Oh and seeing as i´ve gotta go buy another Magnus/Skywarp two pack i´m gonna have a spare skywarp who i think i will repaint or possibly use to make a classics Blitzwing

Ultra Magnus never looked so good.
Its better then any brick or any armor/trailer combination I've seen.
Plus, Talking like this just gets on everyone's nerves. There is no point in randomly putting words in bold face
You know what? I looked to see if the highlighted words linked together to say 'Go screw yourself'
I was dissapointed that they didn't
Jeremy Beadle DVD collection.
On the one hand, these are big name DVDs.
On the other hand, they cost surprisingly little.
So what are you waiting for, order today!

Curious about his "alt" mode, but this kick ass in execution though

I don't care what anyone else has said or bashed about in this thread. I really like that re-paint. Beats the hell out of the Hasbro version. I want to do it now.
What Transformer are you? (Movie)
My Results:

Ironhide
You are the weapon specialist. You are probably the only Autobot who doesn't give a crud about the humans and repeatedly asks permission to blow something up. You are very strong and big as well as always suggesting the BIGGER sort of weapon. You are also good at sports; mostly contact sports. You can be easily irritated and may have anger issues. You also have a huge truck mode. Sweet.

Wow, I'm back from a week's vacation and this thread is still on the first page and has gained 4 more pages.
Ooooo, ALT Pics! So the shoulder extentions are removable. I was wondering how they connected. I'm not as crazy about the ALT modes color placement, but I still love the robot mode. Good job.
