Hmm $60 + ($35 x 5) = $60 + $175 = $235... BEFORE taxes and shipping (shipping could be determined by where you're getting this from)... For comparisons sake, how much was Studio Series Devy again?
These do look awesome though and fitting for the seacons.

I think everyone here knows we are looking at about a $250 combiner ($40 per limb x 5, $50 or $60 for Turtler)

Studio Devastator is $260 retail pre-tax and shipping for comparison

But that's because, along with 2 Deluxes ($20 x 2), it's made with 4 Voyagers ($30 x 4) and 2 Leaders ($50 x 2).
Plus, SS Devy is made of 8 figures, compared to Piranacon's 6.
Value wise, Devy may be much more worth it.
But King Poseidon is looking awesome, and I will be keeping a close eye on this release.

I hope to primus and all that is is righteous and holy that his joints are all tight enough to handle the weight of these new figures, because, oh man, hungurrs' were not
I've had more issues with the smaller Terrorcons' hip joints than with Hun-Gurrr himmself, at least so far
I mean, that's nothing a tiny bit of paper towel can't fix, but hungurr's crappy shoulder ratchets? No way, bum shoulders are permanent cuz hasbro pinned his entire body together, so you can't mod or fix it, which means, he can barely stand on his own, let alone strike a pose
Pins can be removed too
Can't be any worse than my Elita 1. She's the TF definition of a loose woman. Her combiner is being held together by wire/pipe cleaners, and the only way she can stand upright is to lean against the wall. I got all the girls, but it was hardly worth it.
If this is part of the SELECTS line, wouldn't this be a online order? Wouldn't it make more sense to sell these like PW Devastator - an all in one set? Two hands and two feet instead of three extra hands that have to be contended with?

Oh, I'm not saying King Poseidon is worth the price more than Devastator. I agree that Devastator is worth more for the price in my opinion. But King Poseidon is still really cool and I'm looking forward to owning the last of the scrambles

If it comes out to 230 I should be able to have that saved by whenever this comes out, since I've got about a third of that saved already. He'll be my new most expensive figure purchase, taking the spot from my Jinbao Devastator.
I need it. I will have it. I've been eyeing the TFC Seacons for a while now, but unless this is a gigantic QC mess I'll be getting this one. (Though I may get the TFC Tentakil because he looks pretty cool by himself.)
Also, judging by the torso detailing on Tentakil, it looks like they're cutting out the middleman with the inevitable Scylla retool by making him female (or possibly just a very feminine male). Which honestly doesn't bother me in the slightest, somehow.

What plays a factor is that Devie's cost is spread out over 1 and a half years, while we don't know the spread for King Poseidon yet, and whether or not Hasbro will offer it all. Like TakaraTomy can choose what to release so can Hasbro.

Ordered Redwing and he's on his way. Figured he'd be on the Target bill for September no matter what and either the seeker 3-pack or the Micromasters will make the coupon themselves.
Looking forward to him, I love the paint work and I'm looking forward to seeing how good the mold is.
I'm hoping he's good, cause I plan to get 5 of that mold, and if he's good enough, maybe I'll hunt down Scream and get TC when he comes out too

I've got Redwing arriving on Wednesday and he'll be my 5th of that mold. I should be 7 deep by the end of August when ever Thundercracker and Skywarp arrive. It is a really good mold. I have Screamer and the Rainmakers. They made a great adjustment to the chest panel between Starscream and the others, which was really the only flaw in my mind on that mold. I don't mind the legs under a jet and shell forming nature of the jet mode.
I already have a classics seekers collection of 11, and one by one the Siege versions are going to push the classics ones onto ebay. My Henkei Seekers Aces and Universe Acid Storm are going the be the first to go.

Do keep in mind this may simply be a mistake on Target's part. Recently Target has been putting online returns on store shelves (regardless of age and origin, I found YotM Primal and an AoE Dino Sparker in the past 2 weeks), the same may be applicable here. Again, I haven't tried buying one so I don't know if there are any obstacles in procuring Red Wing straight from the shelf.

Normally, I don't really like having to pay a premium for exclusive Transformers except for really unique cases. This is a unique case and I'll definitely pay a premium price for the Seacons. I will be delighted to place them next to Abominus in my display and burn out everyone's eyeballs with their wondrous eye-searing colors.
King Poseidon looks amazing! The only thing that would make it even moreso would be to sell as a UW style giftset. I know it's probably not going to happen, and that's fine, but I'd still absolutely love it.
Also, I don't know why, but I could just watch this clip on repeat over and over.....
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics
Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak
I’m seeing the next many years populated with repaints and retools of these molds I mean there've been so many versions of this toy, each with very unique origins.
One cool thing about combiners is they’re at least a layaway purchase by design

At the very least, we can probably look forward to a God Neptune from Takara if King Poseidon does well enough, since they eventually made Baldigus out of their Bruticus.

I think Bruticus by far holds the records of most reused combiner, but there are only three unique characters (two of which have been made).
Of all the Piranacon/King Poseidan uses, I believe there are only two unique characters (well not counting those in fun pub etc...). I wouldn't mind a God Neptune was released down the road, but lets get some of the more unique combiners first. No need for some of the other more garish repaints this team has had over the years

You know I think I was thinking of the demon general version as a separate character but really he’s not, right? I’ve never watched that one I think that’s Victory I’ve only read up on it and watched clips before. Now that demon general look would be uh-mazing. On all of the combiners shoot demon ‘em up!
