do you think they will ever make a season 5 in the transformers generation 1 season so they can explain what happened to some of the characters in the movie and revive them for example characters like sunstreaker and smokescreen

Considering the suckitude of season three, and that they never even finished season four because of the same thing, no, they'll never make a season five.

Bull! Season Three had some of the best writing(aside from...Wheelie and even he wasn't that bad when he started hangin' out with Blur!) And I'm pretty sure Season Four was ended for artistic reasons. I mean they started a Golden Age of Peace,defeated the Decepticons,had a new supply of Energon. No offense but,you tell me where you coulda gone from there without seeming like your just trying to prolong the series for toy sales. I think there's a slim to none chance of a season five,but I think another seimi- sequel like Beast Wars or a japan-only G1 sequel like Headmasters.

I don't remember that episode,but the way you said that,it sounds like it's better off that way.

Nope, never. If you like G1 your best bet is to watch Headmasters, Masterforce, and Victory.

It's been over 20 years. get over it.

Actually, when Beast Machines ended, the idea for the follow-up to that was called TransTech. Next to the old Beast Wars Characters like Cheetor, BlackArachnia and so on, the story was about the homecoming to Cybertron of the old G1 characters like Optimus Prime, Megatrons, Soundwave, Starscream and several more.

The designs were pretty extreme, but after seeing the drop in viewers Beast Machines had compared to Beast Wars, Hasbro decided to not continue with the Beasts series... and continue with G1 after the Rebirth 3-parter!

New designs were made for Headmasters, Targetmasters, Micromasters and everything. Everything was on to start production on season 5 after an absence of some 15 years, when someone had a bright idea... They made Transformers: Armada instead!

Some of the basic designs for the G1 restart were still used in Armada, though. Sideways was originally a Headmaster. And many of the mini-cons were originally intended as Micromasters.
